Going 6 - 9 this week sucks. I guess I was due for a bad week, but hell we all have bad weeks. Just haven't be able to take off and explode yet this season. The season is early, I will bounce back, I always do. Sit down and get ready, we go alot to talk about!



                                           Ten Things We Learned



1. If any of you missed the Baylor an West By God Virginia game yesterday shame on you! Wow what a game. Both offense are insanely good. I think Art Briles is a helluva good coach and if he ever gets the defensive talent in Baylor watch out. Question is will he stay at Baylor? I know everyone's leader for the Heisman is Geno Smith. Not mine! I think he is good but take away Bailey and Austin and he's average at best IMO. West Virginia is a good football team that is gonna contend for the Big 12 before it's over. It's a3 team league now IMO. Texas,W.V and Kansas S.T.

2. Did you guys see John L. Smith Press conference this week? What a idiot. The guy goes on and on about bull shit and then he pops off with a " we are the state of Alabama ". What John? I'm sorry what? As the great Jim Carrey once said. " Just when you can't get any stupider, you go and do this" im sorry razorback fans, I really am. If I were the president of  Arkansas I would not only fire this buffoon of coach, I would fire the entire administration for bringing him in. The entire group! Usually when things go bad for a team or situation concerning football I always tell you guys the " Best is yet to Come ". Not this time. The worst is still yet to come friends.

3. Im thinking Virginia Tech doesn't want anything to do with the Big East anymore. Tech for whatever reason really struggles with teams for the Big East LOL. I cant put my finger on it. But one thing is for sure now, can we put Logan Thomas horse shit to bed now? talk about overrated. I mean my goodness, this guy has never showed any real flashes of being great IMO. But every " professional " is in love with the guy and thinks he's the next great thing. You really want some advise V.T fans? Fire Beamer, It's time.

4. I know it may look like I'm picking on sparty every week, but im not. Look, if you cant score in today's game, you cant win, it's as simple as that. Sparty is one of the worst offensive teams Ive seen in a few years. Usually I give a team some time before I start to pick on there young QB or if there running a new offense. But I only do that if there looks like there is hope or light at the end of the tunnel. There is none here! Sparty is great defensive team, but something has to give. Whats most concerning to me is not the fact that Sparty is having problems. It's the fact there losing AT home. Sparty almost never lost at home. Now it's getting to be something regular.

5. I know the SEC plays great defense so im waiting for somebody to explain the Tennessee Georgia game to me. I can tell you one thing and it irks me to say it. But if that Georgia team comes to Columbia this weekend, the gamecocks are gonna have a field day with this group. Oh yeah SEC. Nice performance out of LSU yesterday to Little Johns Bible college. WTF! I would say some things about how Alabama played, but these guys win for me more then they lose.

6. I think we need to keep a weekly report on TCU guys. Hell maybe we will be the source that takes this team down with allegations. I really dont know what's going on with TCU. Are they shaving points? If not, there not making a good argument for it. SMU threw 5 picks yesterday and fumbled once for a grand total of 6 turnovers. I didn't watch any of the game, I do plan on going back and watching some of it. So if any of you watched it, share please. I think TCU is on the take men, Things just dont seem right.

7. I'm probably the only person to notice but what the hell has happened to the service academy's this year? Do you guys know that Navy got shutout 12 - 0 to San Jose, which btw, isn't a bad football team. And Army got beatdown by Stony Brook 23 - 3. You know, the powerhouse Stony Brook. You know! What? Stony what? This years Army navy game should be a thriller!

8. Georgia Tech the rambling wreck a helluva engineer. LOL. What? Something you guys dont know about me but im about to tell you. You all know I hate little brother here in the state called the gamecocks, but G.T is a real close second. I wish these nerds in Atlanta would lose every game they ever play. Nothing and I mean nothing made me more happier yesterday then to see the nerds from Atlanta lose to Middle Tennessee st. Not just lose I might add, but got smacked in the mouth. A little running back called " Bam Bam " Benny Cunningham ran threw the G.T defense like hot butter. Hey, when things are going bad in life, you can always root against the nerds and things seem better.

9. Did anyone see the TD that Nuke Hopkins caught yesterday against B.C called out of bounds? You think the Monday night mess with the hail marry was bad. Go watch this play. I promise you it will be the worse call you have ever see in your life time. hands down the worst Ive seen maybe ever. Really all day Clemson was getting the shaft from the officials. But this was beyond ridiculous. Trust me, go watch the play and you will come back speechless. What's really hard to understand is the fact they reviewed it and still got it wrong. Good for Clemson they were able to overcome all the BS and beat B.C down pretty good.

10. After 5 weeks it seems for me anyways I just cant get over the hump. Hanging around .500 for the year is something I not use to. You guys have seen my work on here for years now, by now, I'm already separating and having another successful season. But one thing is true. I'm not gonna get excited, Ive been doing this for a long time and I feel confident in my abilities. If there is one person on this website that will stay focused it's me. One thing I have done much better this year is handle the " haters ". I am not letting them get to me. I do think it's funny that people are so obsessed with me and what I do and say on here that they have to make alias just to try an put me down. But for every " clown " so to speak on here, there are tons of great people. Guys, dont give up on me. The Best is yet to come.

Big 12 is better then I expected. Oklahoma always falls off. U could just see that coming. However, Texas is a little better then I expected. Snyder just knows how to coach. WV offense is the best in the country. Defense however... MEH... They do Round Robin each other at home this year though. WV@Tex Kstate@WV and Texas@Kstate to end the season. That should be fun. In all honesty, I think Tech could be the team that makes the difference in the Big 12. They play all 3(2 at home,not Kstate) and will give some good battles. Wouldn't be surprised to see them surprise one of those teams(probably Texas)

After week 2 I predicted Bama and WV in the NC game. Got a chance anyway.

TCU is a mystery. Seems very very fishy

Always a good read

Tcu fan here and was at the game last night. The conspiracy theories on here baffle me.  Look at the facts, we have played 15 true freshmen so far this year, tied with LSU for the most in the nation.  In Gary patterson's 12 years at TCU the most true freshmen he's ever played in one season is 6.  In the game last night we had 4 botches on snaps/catches/holds on punts and fg's....all by true freshmen. bTW, it poured the entire game which resulted in the sloppy mistakes by BOTH teams.  Bottom line, we are a young team and not a top 15 team at this point in the season, the end. No conspiracy theories. 

Hit most of the major points.

A little more to add to your Arkansas point...

Some good cappers expected Arkansas to bounce back last week and put in a good showing against a rival.  Unfortunately, Arky is beyond bouncing back; they don't have a leader to look to when something goes wrong. The game was tight until Wilson threw that pick...then the floodgates opened. Sure, Wilson is a leader but he needed a coach to settle him down. Petrino was just yelling...John L was just cleaning the rain off his glasses and probably didn't know the INT happened.

I knew this would happen because of the Greg Robinson years at Syracuse. That is exactly what I see at Arkansas. One mistake leading to a barrage of points.

Unfortunately, now the line will reflect this & Arkansas will be getting a garbage-bag-full of points. So it's probably too late to fade Arky.

Loved watching TX and Okie St last night. I was trying to see if maybe TX was worth a bet vs WV this week. First thing Mac Brown does after winning the coin toss is deferring. Ok St scores :52 seconds later. Now that's some Hall of Fame coaching right there...he had Okie St right where he wanted them.



Please, Coach Brown, if I bet you next week don't defer to WV! Geeeeez....I get it...Texas is "tough..just...just don't do it.

OH! Thank your boys, Boom,  for finally playing some defense against Amidon in the 4th quarter. Better late than never when a cover is on the line.

As far as the call goes on the TD that was called back. The announcers later said that if the player touches the pylon before he possesses the ball, by rule he's out of bounds. So his foot was inbounds, definitely, but did he secure the catch before hitting the pylon?

I certainly don't think they are a good team, but earlier in the week you said va tech was gonna roll cinci, now they need to fire beamer.

it was raining  hard the whole game last night  so TCU kind of had a built in excuse ...the funny part was early in the game they moved the ball at will but in the second half being given the ball like 5 times in great field position with 4 INT they either botched  or found away to not turn easy scoring chances in to points and on one play late in the game the D-LINE  for some unknow reason did not rush the passer...even the announcers said that this was some odd stuff going on....yes they have a young squad but this is a very good fast team that  seems to be not playing up to there abilities yet....maybe they cover next week for the fans...... 

Tough week but good win for our tigers.

Btw - I think the pylon is out of bounds, so it was actually a good call. He was out of bounds before he caught it.

FSU kneeled on the ball just several yards out of the end-zone to keep from covering the 16pt line.... It just takes the wind out of a gamblers sails when ya see things like that in college football. Anyone have a logical answer for why a player would kneel down on a broken play to the end-zone?
