There are a lot of reasons Day Trader.
Dasher is back from a suspension. He's been practicing with the first team offense for 2 weeks and even if he is a little rusty the running game will surely pick him up early on against a bad rush defense of Troy. I see a lot of running early which is gonna suck up those linebackers and allow Dasher to get in a groove early finding wide open recievers.
Troy is primarily a passing team and MTSU has a tremendous experienced secondary giving up under 50% completion rate. On the other hand MTSU is very balanced. Troy gives up 4.7 ypc while MTSU runs for 5.2 ypc, i see them running for 6 or 7 ypc tonite which will open up a vicious play action attack.
Huge redzone advantage. MTSU scores 86% and 71% is td's. Troy scores 71% but only 37% are td's. Passing teams struggle to score in the redzone and that will continue tonite versus a very stout rushing defense that the Raiders bring.
Revenge factor. Last chance for these seniors to beat troy as they have lost 4 straight. What a better scenario then on national TV under the lights.
Penalties. Troy averages 11 penalties for 90 yards per game. That spells doom in a raucous environment like their will be tonite.
True freshman QB for Troy. Really tough spot for him to get his first taste of a big game conference game. It doesn't get much bigger than this with the winner of this game pretty much in the drivers seat to win the conference.

I hate to be one of those guys who are betting on a team based on their prev. performance but... I attended Arkansas State Univ, and we have had a less than mediocre team over the years. Troy should have lost to us a couple weeks ago which says terrible things about their team as a whole! They romped us last year as they were a front runner in the Conf. and obviously are building this year with a new QB. I'm leaning MTSU!
