It is obvious... he's having a relationship with his boyfriend Tuiasasopo, which they then have to turn in to some fake girlfriend because people start to wonder when the big man on campus hasn't been seen with a woman in his 4 years there.
Think about it, why would Te'o, a mormon, go to Notre Dame? Because he won't be able to find a mormon girl to date, so he can use that excuse (like Tebow) when he is secretly gay and doesn't want to live a lie. If he'd gone to BYU or any West Coast school with a mormon base, i.e. USC, UCLA, Oregon State, hell even BYU, there would be no excuse for him to be single and not on his path to marriage (a la the Jimmer).
This is so blatantly obvious it is almost funny. Funny thing for Te'o is the media ate it up like a steak and lobster buffet and all of a sudden he's at the risk of being outed, so he crafts this ingenious story where she dies, and he is playing for her, while at the same time still sexting his boyfriend about how well this not only worked out, but the publicity sent his Heisman stock sky rocketing.
What a fraud, I hope he tears both ACL's during Notre Dame's pro day and never plays another down. Love how Notre Dame is covering for him also, how many people that aren't 12 years old have girlfriends who they have never met before, yet only talked to online? Further more how was he talking to Tuiasasopo without knowing it sounded kind of like a dude. This story reeks, they expect people to believe he dated a girl for years who he had never met? Righttttttttt.
