This is a trap game for the Gators... Don't get me wrong Florida fans because I'm not saying Florida sucks or anything like that... but the Gators are coming off a big rivalry game win  on the road and have a huge road game at Alabama on deck... Whether who Florida plays in the SEC East, Florida is their Super Bowl... Kentucky has some big playmakers on offense and I think they will score some points in this game... From a betting stand point the smart bet is to take Kentucky

I never said MSU was a DD dog, someone posted SEC underdogs.

I don't know man.  I totally agree with the line and wouldn't question it... Nothing more and nothing less.

Wheels, if the line was set at over 20 you would have nothing but one-sided action on this game and if KY covered that number it would hurt the books big.  SEC games are among the most bet on in all of college.  SEC games tend to ride closer to the spread and totals than most games in the WAC or even PAC.

Trust me when I say these books got the number right.  The number 15.5 is a really hard number to play if you were to play Florida.  The game will probably be decided by 2 TD's by a narrow cover.

Thats exactly what I said, its still a 3 score spread though. The public doesn't see it that way though. 15.5 and 20 to the public is a HUGE difference

All of you guys that write about sandwich games; bama on deck; florida not playing great on offense; blah blah blah blah; why don't you look at the team they are facing; Kentucky is 3-0 against teams that are not in the top 100; I hate Florida and Meyer but I dont bet games on who I like and dislike; this goes back to history; every year FL plays Kentucky and every year florida destroys them; in the last decade the closest game was 7; how does ANYONE know how good Kentucky is when all they play are cupcakes; FL just went on the road against their biggest rival and beat them by two TD and that pathetic offense is stil scoring 35 a game; you give no credit to their defense which is shutting every single team down; the game is AT FLORIDA let me repeat that AT FLORIDA; Also this Defense will totally shut down their running game if they even have one; which means they are one dimentional and you cant be Florida at Florida being one dimentional; Tenn was 2-13 on third downs and ran the ball 29 times for 23 yards; and Florida plays twice as good at home; why is Stoops 68-2 at home since he started; HOME FIELD IS HUGE. Kentucky's so called defense is just the medicine FL needs to get rolling again and if you have balls to lay 2 td AT FLORIDA against a team that they dominate every single year for the last 25 years go for it. Don't come crying when Florida puts up 50 on them and gets 5 turnovers. The Tenn game is a perfect example; their offense is just about starting to click their running game is getting better and they were 8-14 on third downs which is huge because they dominated the time of possession. Also its a NIGHT GAME on NATIONAL TELEVISION; that makes a big difference when Urban Meyer and his team is AT HOME showing their team how good they are to the entire country. FL defense is the real deal and like I said especially at home in a nationally televised game; FL offense will be fine. Two years ago the game was 63-5. 4 years ago 26-7. 6 years ago 20-3. So far in the last 3 times they have played at Florida they have scored a combined 17 pts. OUCH! Now all of sudden a team that has played a bunch of nobuddies are going to come into the swamp and cover the 14. Good luck on that. I am no Florida fan just like I hate OK state and dont care for Stanford but they made me money last week. GL whichever way you go.

4 other games I am more than leaning and should play

Boise at home -16.5, BLOWOUT CITY; I am no Boise fan just because if they played an SEC or BIG XII schedule they would lose a couple but at home they destroy everyone. There defense is really good especially the run defense which will shut down Jaquis or whatever; they are unlike any other team better than OU because Noone stays close to them at home. Boise made a statement last week that they are going full speed ahead.

AF-12; Travis Wilson OU's best Linebacker said I know Coach Stoops likes scheduling hard teams but dont ever schedule that team again that was too hard. AF has all their players back going back 3 years. They will score at will and already played OU tough; dont think the road game will change anything/

Idaho -7 small play on this; CSU is god awful; the only way they stay in this game is if they dont turn it over more than twice

UNLV small play; this again against another horrible team in New Mexico; UNLV sucks but NM really sucks and laying a td is not much

    Gl on your plays

Tennessee's TDs were kind of fluky.  Florida may not give up a single point in this one, or this could eb a game for 3 quarters.

In the swamp I htink you can take Florida here.  Id be more reluctant if hte Tennessee game got out of hand but it was only a 14 point win.

    Kind of fluky?

14 o their 17 points came on blown coverage and led to easy passing touchdowns. They didn't really earn them. Florida's aggressive style on defense is going to leave them prone to those types of plays though. I doubt Florida would have 10 INT's if it wasn't for their aggressive style.

First of all beating Tenn at Tenn by two TD is a blowout as far as I am concerned; how many teams go in and do that; Oreg which is a very good team blew them out but it was a game for a half; that is a hugggggggge rivalry game just like every rivalry game they give it everything they have; now FL comes home and Meyer is on National TV; how does Meyer get all the recruits aka criminals he beats bad teams on NATIONAL TV; every recruit will watch that game; FL offense is not easy to run and Brantley is finally starting to click but regardless Kentucky is not very good; someone please give me an argument on how they stay within 14; you guys dont even know the qb's name for Kentucky; Kentucky played a weak non-conference schedule and they are about to get punched in the face and taken to the woodshed.

Tennessee easily covered  with the early -16.5 opening line. Florida only outgained UT by 29 yards. turnovers killed UT. That game was close late into the 4th. Tennessee is not a good team. KY is as good or better than UT. Florida is overated.

it has been a blowout the past three years because of Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin, Riley Cooper, and Hernandez none of whom play for them anymore. I am a huge Florida fan but I truly see them gicing Florida fits. Joker Phillips has them playing strong and after watching them play after he lit in to them when they were slacking last weekend and pulled out ATS win. I would strongly go with the Cats this time around.

Every week, there are several thread titles asking why is so and so laying --- points to so and so.  Here's my pat answer again.

Vegas sets lines in their best attempt to get even money on both sides.  They are not trying to trick anybody.  If they get their vig profit, then the sucker profits from the parlayers is just GRAVY.

I would certainly argue they dont at times. They exploit certain matches with certain lines.

Retard with no plays of his own who thinks a team like Kentucky a complete unknown will come into Florida and keep it close. I wont be eating chalk when the game is 35-0 at halftime. I love people who dont even give logic to why Kentucky has a chance to cover. They are just little kids saying pointless statements. He hasnt posted a play on covers he just likes to think he knows what is talking about. What a waste.

How do you know Kentucky is better than Tenn; the teams they have played are 1-9; do you even now the Kentucky players; if you are going to make a statement back it up with logic; also Fl is going to be playing at home not at Kentucky HUGE DIFFERENCE; FL would have beaten down Ten if it was at FL

You guys miss the simple things that are so obvous. I am done. Its like talking to donkey.

Look to be perfectly honest you do not know what you are going to get from Florida. This is a game that can go Kentucky's way due to turnovers which have plagued Florida lately. This is new era from Kentucky under head coach Joker Phillips. They have a legitimate player in all-purpose back Patrick Cobbs. They also have talent in QB Mike Hartline. They have the formula to contend and make the game interesting. No one is saying Kentucky is going to shock the world. But with all that is going on at Florida and the big revenge game looming next week Kentucky could be overlooked and cover the 14 points given to them. Nothing is a lock or guaranteed. You just have to step back and take a good look at the scenario. Florida has failed to top 40 points so far which can hurt bettors if they give up some costly turnovers that convert to points on the other end. You also have to factor in Locke who is no slouch out the backfield and can rake it to the house at any momment.

He hasnt posted a play on covers he just likes to think he knows what is talking about. What a waste.

You can thnk whatever you want about duke; just like I started a new thread with tech; ok state and stanford; i have been gambling for 20 years and one thing that people underestimate is history and home field; if Cal played Nev at Cal; the score would have been reversed; some teams just own the other team; Tech always seems to beat Ok state; when is the last time Kentucky has beaten Florida I am not talking about that last 3 years I am talking about the last 20 years; and yes I know they have different teams but the same result; play whatever you want; I take it all of you guys are all on  KENTUCKY right groves ok you have Kentucky I have Floriday; you have a team that has played cupcakes; I have a team with an enormous defense AT HOME in one of the toughest places to play and Joker doesnt get on the field; I just got it at 13.5 at SideActionSports; I also got Boise at 16.5; those are my two biggest plays; so you can go with the team thats completely unknown and I will go with Urban Myer at HOME with a great defense that barely gives up any points and now that they are getting into conference play I expect that offense to click more and more and god I hate when people say if they dont have turnovers; well if you have a great defense they force turnovers they just dont hand the ball to Florida; so I will take Florida at home and Boise at home; you can take Kentucky and OSU; deal!
