Bama can't kick a field goal but they are the 2nd best team in the country...who did Bama play that was a worthwhile victory?

Tappy and Lucan are the biggest fanboys on this site- Neither accepts the fact that LSU already beat Alabama in Alabama. (although Tappy did congratulate LSU backers and make a thread where people could bash him- so props to him for that) Everyone will have to get used to them posting roll tide crap until the game. Then it will stop and the excuses will start flying about how Alabama lost. The same way in almost every post they have, they mention how if the kicker made more kicks, and if this and if that- LSU won and LSU will win again. If anybody thinks LSU is shitting their pants because they have to play Alabama again then they couldn't be more wrong. Althought their will be plenty of Alabama fans in the Superdome, their will be more LSU fans and LSU won't play so conservative. Jefferson will run the option(which their slow linebackers have a hard time defending) and LSU will beat them on the edges. I believe their will be more scoring from both sides. Georgia Southern exposed their defense on how they have a hard time defending the option. I don't want to hear that they had their 3rd and 4rth string players in for that game as somebody tried telling me in another thread. If Saban is smart(that seems to be a big if lately), then he will run some trick plays and open up the offense a bit. I also think Bama's young QB will make some bad plays because of the pressure and in the end LSU wins 23-17. Offenses are about even with an edge to Bama in the passing game. Defenses are even but Bama's D is more physical and LSU has more speed. Slight advantage to LSU. Special teams- huge edge to LSU. Can't wait to see this game but who knows what might have been if Oklahoma St. would have gotten to play LSU.

Florida was winning Championships and making the SEC what it is while you were a child. Bama has won one God damn title since 92, they have done nothing since the Jesus days.

Actually, I have a bet with Teaser... If Alabama loses I have to put up his avatar of choice for one year. If Alabama wins, he has to do the same for me.

Ummm... LSU had the same issues on offense that we had in that game... NO other team has held them to what we did, and had them beat several times during that game. Everyone in the nation saw that and realized that we were the ONLY team capable of beating them. Bama haters like yourself like to find excuses to justify your hatred all the time, and it's times like this when you simply fail.

What you don't realize is that we had no time to prepare for the option with Jefferson, and we had no time to prepare for the tripple option of Ga southern. We have plenty of time to prepare now, and we will stop that. You can be guaranteed that the Tide will be doing more than half their practice head to head with Phill Simms in on offense going against our defense, running the EXACT same offense that LSU runs. This will happen day in and day out, and we will be ready for it.

I like how Florida fans, and fans of other teams pick a certain number of years and base their teams success off of it. The bottom line is that although Florida has had more recent success they simply aren't the type of program Alabama is. Alabama is on a whole other level, and it's called tradition. We have that, and are proud of it. That is why we claim all the titles we have, and that is why we are simply better.

Congrats  Bama ,,,  they go to the NatChamp.  this  game  will  get a lot of  hype and excitement,  especially in  Louisiana and  Alabama.

Agreed- both teams will have plenty of time to prepare- So no advantage there to either team- Last year and this year Alabama knew JJ runs the option. For whatever reason they have problems defending it. I think the reason is they aren't as fast as LSU. When JJ runs the option it opens up the passing game a bit. I could be totally wrong and will admit it after the game if i am.

  This is a 1 hour drive from my house... I already booked a hotel room, and plan to attempt to drunkenly scalp tickets the day of. I plan to get sloshed for 3 days with LSU, and Bama fans alike.

Last year we didn't have the personnel that we have this year, and as I said before, we weren't prepared. We have the personnel this season, and we will be prepared this time around. I as you could be completely wrong, and you know I will be the first to admit it.

The National Championship is the highest honor in college football, and whoever claims it holds that honor for 365 days, which is exactly what my Tide will do!
