ALT spread -6.5(-170)… willing to pay the juice for this one.. 45*.. BIG PLAY.. As always BOL Gentlemen…. 68-52 YTD..
The thing that scares me about Ga Southern, is they haven't covered the spread the last few years in the bowl games, and 2 years ago, when they played Ohio, their QB looked like he got paid to lay down. he threw like 3 or 4 pics in the first half, a couple of them were right to the bobcat defenders. One was a bullseye, right in the chest of the linebacker, right in front of the QB. He was about 5 yards behind the receiver on the crossing route. That game was like 28-0 ohio, before you were done pouring the first beverage. It was U G L Y. It was very similar to GaSo's non conference game against Wisconsin that year, when they moved the ball up and down the field on the badgers, but had about 4 or 5 turnovers. They won the first half something like 14-7, should have been way worse, and then got outscored like 35-7 in the 2nd half. It was just one turnover after another. I had bought the spread up from 20 to 21.5, so won my bet, but it looked awfully suspicious. That experience shied me away from Ga So against the bobcats, and then just watched the GaSo qb give it away like a freshman co-ed. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying caution. Acording to my records they didn't cover their bowls in 2022,2023, and 2024. I couldn't find their 2021 results, 2020 was covid. 2019, they didn't cover. They did cover in 2018. Maybe it's nothing, not trying to throw water on your fire.

Camden Brown over 100 receiving yards Looks tempting with APP states opt outs on defense. But like you alluded to, you never know what the mindset is for this game.

The one thing that should give everyone pause on this game is that Southern under Helton is 0-3 in Bowl games SU and ATS. They were favored in every one of those.
He also let go of most of his defensive staff at the end of the season. App St is depleted, but was happy to get a Bowl due to other teams turning down the bid.
Anything could happen in this game.
