Freak Pics!!! (Week 1)
What do you mean by "bad?" Do you mean bad as in dishonest, or do you mean "bad" as in poor performance?

Already posted this on the other thread but here is what I have heard.
A friend of mine flew up with the team. He said someone asked him about it when he got on the plane. He said AJ said he is and will be fine. He's not the first player to have it happen. From what I hear the medical staff is extra cautious about all the players and sometimes have them wear different protective gear at times. Should be nothing to worry about.

You hear anything about this McCarron being in a boot today?? Supposedly there are pictures of him walking around in a boot. Any cause for concern, or have you heard about it?
Yes, he had surgery on Monday for an ingrown toenail. He did not miss any practice time becasue of it. He's fine. This will have zero impact on the game.

its probably a precaution for the bruised foot in the off season. To be honest i wouldnt be worried about his bruised foot he would play through that.
He did suffer a deep bruise on his foot in the last scrimmage, but that has long since healed. McCarron is fine. None of his recent foot issues will impact his performance tomorrow.

This is correct. Trent Richardson wore a boot almost his entire junior season. Eddie Lacy wore one almost his entire Alabama career (turf toe).

Freak I've been following your threads for awhile now. Great insight and picks. How do you feel about Oregon @ -59? Do you really think that they can cover that?
I don't cap FCS games, so I really have no clue.

Jimmy more i look at this Bama vt game over looks like way more value
I think the total is pretty sharp, but I would lean OVER.

Jimmy, any idea why Vegas is only giving Bama 21? I'm kind of wary about betting on this game on Bama side, because well I'm an Auburn fan (lol), but also because I know VT is returning basically their entire defense..I could see this being a very low scoring game even with Bama dominating it and Bama not being able to cover. Also VT's ability to score on special teams is something that would worry me as Bama has not always been the best at Special Teams. Also there's the fact that it seems EVERYONE is betting Bama this game, I got a feeling Vegas knows something we don't.
This is pretty much an unprecedented line for Virginia Tech. Tech hasn't been a 3 TD dog to anyone in the last 20 years, so when you look at it like that, the line would appear to be high.
I think this will be a very low scoring game for Virginia Tech, but not for Alabama.
Special teams is always a wildcard. The only aspect of Alabama's special teams that worry me is kicker, and that's only if Saban trots Cade Foster out there to attempt a field goal. The athletic advantage for Alabama on special teams is huge.
I don't think Vegas has any esoteric information on the game. If "everyone" is indeed on Alabama, I think it'll be a bad day for the books.

Well, I pretty much followed them during bowl season and they did real well. Wasn't sure about the regular season, but then again, I didn't do my due diligence. It was only 100 bucks so whatever, I'm sure Ive wasted more money on bigger things before.
Jimmy, much respect for you as well. I have been looking at your post for a long time. I pretty much always take your best bets and max bets since you seem to have a pretty good grasp on things (especially the SEC). Just keep on keepin on my man!
CharlotteSports had a monster 2011/2012 bowl season. He had a good 2012/2013 as well, but not close to what he did the previous season.
BEE also did fairly well during the bowl season.
The reason you don't know about the regular season is both stopped posting after having poor records.

They only charge $99 for the entire season so they aren't breaking the bank or able to quit their day job. At the same time, Right Angle Sports charges a staggering $3,250 for NCAAF and CBB, now THATS a racket! I bet no where near enough to justify spending that kind of money ($50-$100/game), so for me to give BEE and Charlotte $99 bucks for their picks is okay by me. Hell I made a lot more than that on their bowl picks last year.
I have zero problem with what they are doing. This is America. They are offering a service at a very low price, and if people find value in that service at that price, more power to them. Sounds like a win/win for everyone involved to me. Moreover, I'm not rooting against their success.
