I have a small play on Stanford but a lot of my play has a lot to do with many IF's because Stanford HAS to get off to a fast start to at least not go down by two td's right off the bat. You said their offense is based off their running game well I guess you didn't watch last game when Cal sold out to stop the running game and got torched for 377 yards and 6 tds. Hopefully Stanford can run a base run defense and not have to bring up their safeties and LB like Cal did or Mariotta will torch them like last week. Also Oregon has the best or the 2nd best offensive line in the nations BAR NONE. Bama may be slightly better. Stanford in no way shape or form is in the same breath as Oregon. You don't run an offense like that without an ELITE O Line. Losing Patterson was a big deal because he called all of the plays and since Boyett was out was their top guy in their secondary which will make a difference. I like Stanford as well but this is the BEST offense I have ever seen in college football and will need to start like they did against Zona except Stanford will have to play perfect football on the offensive side of the ball. Oregon is really dinged up including Barner and Mariotta so this would seem like the time to have any sort of chance of beating them.
