CFP Picks and Why 1-1-26

We hit Miami spread and Moneyline so we are at 10-8 and CFP 5-1.    Let's look at some numbers:

-3   Ore      11 7 4 14

      TxTc    5 3 5 68    

 

Ore opened at -3 currently -2.5 (madduxsports.com) .   TT is better in total off at 5 vs 11;  Better in total Def at 3 vs 7 and Ore is better in Sagarin rank at 4 vs 5 and better in sched strength at 14 vs 68.    

Unlike yesterday where I had several data points from Bowl games - in this situation - I don't; however, there was a regular season game between Ala. and Tenn - where the numbers were similar and Tenn took 17/24 .   

I'd prefer Neutral field comparisons but - go with what you got.  Schedule strength for Tech is the outstanding number but I think they get it done today.    My plays for the day:

 

1.  TxTc +2.5   

2. Indiana -7 

3. Miss +6.5
