Don't like much on the Saturday card and will more than likely look at some of the late games.
Saturday:
AUBURN +6
Not going to be a popular play, but Auburn is a tough place to get a win. Especially if its their conference opener as we have here. Auburn has covered 14 of the last 18 SEC openers and infact Auburn has beat State 9 of the last 10 straight up. I won't call for the outright as State has the better team but give me the 6 and the homefield advantage and we'll see if we can't get the cash.
PENN ST +10
Another not so popular play but I can't pass on the value I see here. The oddsmakers have put alot of faith into a couple rookie Qb's to go into Happy Valley and come away with not just a win but a 10 pt win and I don't see it. Penn St was embarrassed last year in the 24-3 defeat and will put forth enough effort to hang inside the generous 10 spot.
WAKE FOREST +1 1/2
Wake looked really good in the opener with Syracuse and pretty much dominated them for 3 1/2 qtrs. This team is much improved and will make us some money this year. Speaking of money making,.Wake loves to get the cash when they play State. Wake has covered 7 of the last 9 in this series including 7 in a row at home.The fact of the matter is State can never be trusted as a road favorite and I won't start trying today.
