If you look at the last column of my numbers on the first page of this thread - high positive numbers mean better offensive efficiency matchup for that team against that specific defense.

So two high positive numbers mean higher scoring games.

BUT.... That doesnt mean "over". Of course - you have to look at what the line is - and other factors. But if you saw two negative numbers with a total of 80, that is a good under - or two positive numbers with a total of 40, that is a good over.

What people seem to forget is that these are OPINIONS. Believe what you want to believe.

You CAN NOT go "Hey, Van, your damn numbers aren't hitting 80%, 75%, 70%........" NOBODY is hitting that percentage EVER.

Also, please note how some bets are somewhat bigger for Van. Sometimes, you'll see a bet for 1.35 Units. If you bet the same amount every damn time, it is known as FLAT BETTING. Your better bettors (no, I did not stutter), do not do this. Most everyone will have a stronger opinions/numbers. If you try a King Of Covers contest, you'll notice you can bet 100 or 200 or 300 or 400 or 500 for the Spread and the Over/Under. Can you guess why?

Last, try and remember some of the words before/after the numbers rolled out. Van, and Scalabrine, will preface a pick/picks by posting a w/l record for the year, a current streak, or maybe (shudder) SOME TRUTH. Scal will tell you hey my college football picks are this, but my NBA picking is lacking or vice versa. Remember what Van said "A word of warning.... 2015 has been terrible for me overall. The last 6 weeks have been fantastic, but the 10 months before that have been terrible." (Post #45)

Have to add on some Bowling Green at -5. Too tempting at that number. Bowling Green -5 for 2 units.

Great picks so far your system is working very good so far. I have never used a system more of a knowledge man myself but can't argue with what I'm seeing so far.

Nice work Van. Wash St. is minus points but a top play for me anyway. Got 4 of the 5 played and hope we win them all.Been a great year in the Pro and Bowl games but regular seson NCAAF FB + units still left something to be desired. Surpassed the +175 Unit profit target and all client referred players are getting the rest of the seasons picks free.Been doing the same for over 10 years and plan on doing it the next 5 til I sell out.Over 25 years doing this so it's been long enough.Wish you a great post and Bowl season bud and happy holidays.

Honestly, I think it is about right.

These bowl games can get pretty loose - and if what you predict is true - that Navy is demotivated because of coaching changes - that usually affects defense more than offense.

Pass for me. I am hoping for under because I think that has a better chance of Navy covering.
