This is the most ignorant thread ive ever seen.  Boise should have lost to VT, if it wasnt for poor coaching they would have.  And VT sucks.

Boise would not beat Ohio St or Alabama. 

FYI Kellen Moore is shit, dudes like 5 foot 7 and has a weak ass arm, just floating balls everywhere, if they ever played a team worth a damn .......

Are we still debating this?  Boise doesn't have to play a big game every week......I do not knock Boise's talent, they are good and a good team...but if they want creditability like your annual power houses they need to play a tough confernce schedule....their schedule is week and they will never have to suffer let down games like Alabama did against South Carolina......

all most of the boise backers with the exceptions of a few are saying is,if they go unbeaten,they deserve a shot,and we want them to get a shot.  Everybody on the other side is just saying boise cant beat this team or that team,and they could win or be competative in a natl champ game.   Well,,I posted earlier ,whats the diff ,if they deserve to be there and get beat bad,then its no different than most natl champ games. Do we want to see Ohio State get beat down by another sec team again.

If Boise goes undefeated,,give them a shot,,line up the so-called big boys and let them decide on the field.   If all the big boys were so confident,they would be saying,,yes give Boise a shot,so they could destroy them,but.......thats not what they are saying,they are saying Boise don't belong there,,why...They dont want to play them. Now if Boise loses,,you get no argument from me,that they shouldnt be there,but as long as they keep winning,they deserve a shot.

So what you are saying is if you schedule two mediocre BCS teams out of conference and run through your less than half ass conference , you deserve a shot over a team who has played a legit schedule vs. quality talent in a quality conference and has one loss. The BCS system may suck, but it is the system. And in that system Boise does not deserve a shot.

If they are ranked ahead of them yes,,especially after being unbeaten last year too.,and I grew up in big ten country and if you think Ohio St would beat them,I wouldnt put to much money on that.  Ohio St is not as good as people think.

There is no way these two sides will ever agree,we can argue forever. The only way,is have an 8 team playoff,if Boise or Ohio St,Bama,Flor,Neb,USC are in the top 8 let them settle it on the field,and that would end this argument that nobody,including myself can give a absolute answer to.

Ima add u as a friend.  But im curious who do u think is gonna be OSU.  Wisconsin, doubtful, Penn St hell no, Iowa has the best chance, but no.  MSU nah, Michigan, there defense is so bad thats to easy. 

There building Wisconsin up to be the toughest test for OSU all year and that to me is a joke.

This Boise team reminds me of the high powered Hawaii team that got spank few yrs ago vs Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.  The Wac is a joke.

ern,,,not sure,their toughest tests will be Sat @ Wis and Nov 20 at Iowa.  They don't play Mich St this year. I agree no way with Penn St though,as they are down big time this year.I have just seen them stumble somewwhere every year in the big ten in some game they probably should not have lost to.

09  -- as 13 pt fav    lose @Pur 26-18

08  ---lose to #3 Penn St 13-6

07  --lose to Ill 28-21 as 15 pt Fav and ranked #1

06  --didnt lose until NC game

05  --  lose to #16 Penn St 17-10

so,it just seems that Ohio St stumbles somewhere along the way,and this year with so many unbeatens left right now,if they stumble they will fall a long ways(ex  Bama).I just think they will lose at least 1 game,and that will be crucial this year.

And if this team reminds you of hawaii you dont watch football. The only comparison is the same conference. After that the comparison stops. That hawaii team was based on 1 player and 1 style of offense. All passing, no defense or running game. Boise is a well  balanced team on both sides and has proven they could beat good teams. Not even close to hawaii

Other than alabama the sec is loaded with mediocrity this year....Heres the problem with college football which ive already said a million times. Could boise go unbeaten playing an SEC schedule every week? Probably not but you SHOULDNT have to. This is the only stupid sport that required a nearly perfect season. You can be the best team in another conference and not have to go unbeaten. Nobody thinks Butler in bball would have rolled thru big east play last year but they were good enough to almost win a national title

Boise St,good team,great coaching! However they would not come out of an SEC schedule with out at least 3 or 4 losses. JMHO

What he is saying is that everyone, including Boise St deserve a fair shot no matter what your personal opinion of them is. If we have to live with a system so broken down that the best teams gets left out because they have an off week in November, let everyone have a fair chance. It is not like the two best teams play every year anyway, it is nothing more then exhibition now .

I've already explained in great detail why that is.  It just takes a little reading, and a little reading comprehension . . . there is that reading comprehension thingy again.  It is because they do not have the talent to consistently compete against top tier teams because of the large disparity in talent and depth.

I've explained that the average recruiting ranking of Boise's last 5 recruiting classes is 82.  That's 82 out of 120 teams.  Does that mean Boise is the 82nd best team in the nation?  No, of course not.  Does that mean Boise is not good?  No, of course not.  Does that mean Boise doesn't have very talented players on their roster?  No, of course it doesn't.  What it does mean is exactly what I said.

If they had to play in the SEC week in and week out, their anorexically thin roster would not hold up over the course of a season.  That's why they would have a losing conference record in the SEC (which means they would be no better than 3 & 5).  And 5 loss teams don't play for national championships.  To play for national championships you have to do more than beat two mediocre teams and have 10 bye weeks.

 

Again your skiping the question and for some odd reason avioding the debate here. How are their 10-15 teams that can beat Bosie. Boise basically beat Vtech at home.
