Anyone else notice how nobody knows how to properly finish off a game anymore?

I enjoy a last second finish. It "was" fun. But gone are the days of that happening once or twice a weekend in football. Now it seems every 2nd or 3rd game this happens. Teams blow double digit leads like nothing or they can't even run out the clock properly.

Bring this up after watching the Arizona St game where they get the 4th down stop and then immediately fumble the ball. Meanwhile Texas is trying their hardest to ensure that Michigan has an opportunity to win that game.

It's gotten exhausting.

And now Duke decides to throw the ball on 3rd down out of bounds to stop the clock to give Arizona St the ball back. Like its braindead football.

Texas makes me laugh because Sark complained the most about missing the CFP and he's playing a Michigan team in disarray.

I know you want to say its "fixed" but I don't think that. I think its a combination of crappy coaching and braindead players.

Dude, this. I don't think I've seen more bullshit collapses in a single season, ever (and it's carrying into CBB). Oklahoma literally forgot how to play football after 1 bad play last week. Can't explain it.

Sadly we are getting to the point where many games you only need to watch the final 5 minutes of the game. Its like watching Track Cycling or Speed skating in the olympics. For the first 9 laps its completely casual and then the final lap everyone loses their mind lol

How about Utah now trying to run click out. Then don't punt, giving Nebraska great field position with time and timeout left to possibly score a nothing td???

It's actually designed to make it so. That's why they have all these stoppages and ads to try change momentum. Also teams can't run the ball anymore down teams throats they don't use fullbacks they line up in shotgun
