i'm waiting for the lucky number i think most books will have it up to 24.5 by friday.  and more often than none you see alot of backdoor cover in college football if the other team is playing a big chalk.  its either blowout city or a backdoor cover.

What makes you think this?  BYU racked up 700 yds of offense against Tulsa, 700!!!  OU put 600+ against USU in Norman only because they pulled the starters out in the 3rd qtr.

Sooners will score TD's on 5 of 6 possessions until they have at least a 35 point lead.  That should be by half time.  OU will get the ball 6-8 times in the first half which means 5-7 touchdowns.  Even if Tulsa gets in the endzone on 1 of 4 possessions, at 6-8 touches in first half, thats 1-2 td's, that means ou is up somewhere between 28 and 35 at the half.

3rd qtr will start with same group as 1st qtr until they score at least 1 more TD, 2 if Tulsa is actually scoring points, then Stoops will start rotating in backups to get game experience.

Why would OU not play balls out?  They are ranked #4 and have alot to prove to the voters still.  Watch out they are much better than you give them credit for

I can definitely see a backdoor cover by Tulsa, but to use that as an argument when backing Tulsa has trouble written all over it. If this line keeps going up, I feel forced to take Tulsa.

oh yeah for sure sooners will put up some numbers i just can't back them laying big chalk away.  i'm not sure how they'll perform i'm very uncertain but i do know they are a great team this season they'll beat texas for sure in the red river shootout.  this is not my best play of the week but simply a mild play just to have some action on the game to make it interesting. this game can go either way as i said blowout city or covers.

Watch out they are much better than you give them credit for

oh yeah for sure sooners will put up some numbers i just can't back them laying big chalk away.  i'm not sure how they'll perform i'm very uncertain but i do know they are a great team this season they'll beat texas for sure in the red river shootout.  this is not my best play of the week but simply a mild play just to have some action on the game to make it interesting. this game can go either way as i said blowout city or covers.

God, I hope Tulsa covers just for the sake that all these jokes will lose their money.  Im probably just going to play the total.  Bookie is offering 24, but I could see a 14 pt game as well as a 35 pt game.  s

As for this Tulsa game, I will play Tulsa if I can get 24.5 before gametime.  Freshman QB making his first road start, good Tulsa offense that can at least move the ball and keep the clock running.  To much value to pass on, I'll take the points and pray.

Read an article somewhere on the web early this week about the Tulsa team being gassed from the game with BYU. Story talked about the shootout game was like playing a doubleheader. So many plays for the Off and Def in that one. And remember its a short week to prep.

Tulsa's D might get scored on all night long. I just need the Sooner D to stop Tulsa once a quarter and have Tulsa stop themselves a couple of times and Im a winner.

    OU wins this one BIG.

Just a piece of advice.  If you have to pray for a cover, you're probably on the wrong side.

you must think texas is good.  i agree on paper they are a much bigger test, but oklahoma will shred them.  and after this game oklahoma will be prepared for texas tech is what i said.  and um miami you say??? the team that struggled with that awful marshall team, yes miami is a cupcake for oklahoma my friend.  you just come back on saturday morning and we can discuss the game and see how much BS  i actually wrote. i will be the fist to admit if im wrong.

    I'm sorry, but...

miami is a cupcake for oklahoma my friend.

Again, if Oklahoma can put up 50+ on a solid Miami team with a good defense, the sky is the limit against Tulsa.  I'll be impressed if Tulsa reaches 20 points.

If Stoops doesn't call of the dogs OU could reach 100.  There is no reason to humiliate a team though, so when they are up by 35 ish, then the backups will come in and get some playing time.  Probably early 3rd qtr.
