#193 Northeastern -10
PRESYSTEM PLAY Towson +10
Thought this line would be 10 and it is.  Towson is getting most of the play on Matchbook right now so I don't know if we can expect to get much better, but I'll wait and see.  Nice thing about Towson as a DD underdog is that they normally keep it really close or get flat-out destroyed so you don't have to sweat it (but probably just jinxed it there)

the only problem with this one is Northeastern was missing one of their best players and he has returned recently and they have beat VCU & almost won @ Hofstra.

some people just dont understand what a true system is.  you cant try to break down the games. its just a system and that is it. dont try to hash things out. it doesnt work that way. its not handicapping. its system plays.

I had Hofstra as a play. Georgia St. who is 214 on KenPoms ranking is favored by 18 at home over Hofstra. Did I overlook something?

Oh wow. Just noticed the error. The site that I'm forced to use for my lines at work hung a 18 out there for 5dimes. They've since adjusted. Thanks. Lesson learned.

I think UNC4LIFE's point was reasonable. It's still the "Pre-System" so if there is some aberration or some explanation as to why this one particular play may not really "qualify" as a play, then his point could be useful. Some may want to pass or even fade it as a result. He's saying that they may have earned their low ranking due the injury of their best player who is now back and they are playing with passion now and winning, not folding their tent, which is a necessity for the system.

A reasonable post. He didn't just say don't play Towson because they REALLY suck. He is saying Northeastern is not a team in quitting mode.

                   Might be a trap game, Memphis beat this team by 16 earlier this year, it's a revenge game, majority of bettors are on Memphis. the line should be Memphis -1, so it doesn't matter on the spread, Whoever win will also cover.
