Wednesday "Presystem" Plays

"Presystem": 14-4-1

Let me get this out of the way again:  I don't like systems.  I don't like the presystem.  I won't like the system.  I won't like the plays that the system tells me to make.  You won't have to convince me why you don't like one of the plays.  I do like winning money, hence I continue to bet the "presystem" plays.  If they win I give the accolades to the "presystem" and if it loses save your wrath for the "presystem" as well. 

If you remember I thought (still think even though I have been proven wrong) that its too early for the system and the later in the season we follow the system the better we will do. 

If you look back at the results in the emergency system thread I started, you will see that the best results for the system was from Feb 18th 2010 till the last game of the regular season, the system went 32-6 and its no surprise to me at all as the three pillars that the system is based on come from motivational factors and tries to take advantage of home teams that have "given up." 

If you choose to start following the "system" on Feb 17th, 2011 (the same Thursday as the big run from last year) that is probably a great idea.  But as long as the "presystem" and "system" are producing winning numbers its probably a good idea to bet it (or track it if you like).  It should be noted that I am NOT going to be locking any of these games in tonight, so I'm take my chances to possibly get better lines tomorrow.  If the line looks to be moving the other way, I'll lock them in as quickly as I can.  Here are the "presystem" plays:

#193 Northeastern -10
PRESYSTEM PLAY Towson +10
Thought this line would be 10 and it is.  Towson is getting most of the play on Matchbook right now so I don't know if we can expect to get much better, but I'll wait and see.  Nice thing about Towson as a DD underdog is that they normally keep it really close or get flat-out destroyed so you don't have to sweat it (but probably just jinxed it there)

PRESYSTEM PLAY Toledo +16
I thought this game would be +17 and wouldn't be surprised to see it get there throughout the day tomorrow.  I won 2-units being against Ohio on Saturday (they JUST MISSED being a presystem play as they were ranked 178 on Saturday).  This will be a painful play and if the line moves towards Toledo (IT SHOULDN'T) you know the pay touts gave this one out as there is nothing to like about Toledo (besides the fact that they qualify for the system).  I don't like this play at all (which makes me like it a lot - if your new to the thread that statement won't make sense)

SYSTEM PLAY Northern Illinois +8
NIU is already getting most of the early play on Matchbook but I'll wait to see what happens.  NIU will definitely play hard for us so I don't mind the play (and that scares me). 

Those are the 3 presystem plays, for those of you who like the "almost" "presystem" plays (and why would you not, they are hitting as often as the "presystem").  #168 Akron is -6.5 against Western Michigan so you might give that game a little extra look. 

I have numerous other games that I like (and I've been fairly hot lately) so I'll post an "alert" play tomorrow (if that happens it won't be till around 5:30 or so Central when I get off work) if I like something alot.  I'll also post my full card in that thread if anyone cares.  I'll let this thread just be for the "presystem"

Please be aware that is it fine with me to do whatever you want with these plays and I'm not offended in the least if you fade, follow, no-play or anything else.  But there is really no purpose in posting in here that "such and such" team sucks.  WE ALREADY KNOW THEY SUCK, no need to rehash it in here at all.  Good luck with whatever you decide to do tomorrow, we are all in this together.

I know La salle doesn't fit the system, but i'm really liking the +6 vs. St.Louis. Am i missing something or does this actually look as good as i think it does?

I admit I don't know much, but there is a game and line that baffles me. Memphis is at Central Florida, Central is -2 and I'm wondering why. Central is on a major losing streak, has been owned by Memphis over the last 'x' years, and memphis recently defeated Gonzaga at Gonzaga. Why is Central favored?
