I have tailed you blindly plently of times (only on small conference games), with mixed results. You're my favorite capper to read....maybe b/c there's soooo much too read. Your insight is always entertaining, but you contradict yourself (even within the same paragraph) frequently...in case you didn't realize this in your 60 word sentences. It's almost like you write so much so you can talk yourself into a hunch by writing more sometimes. In my buzzed stupor, I came to a realization tonight. NONE of your guesses on these smaller conference games come from your experience actually watching these teams play. It's all from advanced per possession and other gooby goo stats and none of it from actual eye test analysis. I don't discount the merit of some of these stats, but to base your entire analysis on these stats only is selling yourself short. How in the world could you possibly know that TN Martin should cover 12 tonight against TN St. or that Ark Pine Bluff should come within 17.5 of UTEP? Don't even try to tell us that you've seen Ark PB, TN Martin or TN St. actually play a full game this year. A winning capper should be able to combine these stats that you use (and that I and the rest of us use) with what you actually see with you own eyes. I tailed you on these smaller games b/c I moronically believed you actually had some insight that the rest of the public wasn't privy to.....I'M AN IDIOT FOR THAT. If you were actually that good, you'd be charging $500/month and not hitting 48% of your bets.
I'm only writing this to save the next Joe Schmoe that hops on this site and sees your 1500 word write-up on Chicago St. vs. New Jersey Institute of Technology for 3 units their money. We all know damn well that you've never seen either of these teams play with your own eyes. Just because PG John Adams scores 1.28 ppp and that Rod Duncan allows .873 ppp against, that doesn't mean shit if you've never seen either in person. Adams could be a 5'1 popcorn fart that shoots a set shot only and Duncan could be a 6'5 lanky fucker that wouldn't even need to move his feet to guard this little Adams fucker....but once again you (or any of us) wouldn't have the slightest clue since we've never seen either in person.
My advice... save your 50 minutes of typing and cap games that you actually KNOW something about and stop trying to outsmart yourself betting on these mid to lower tier conferences ONLY and trying to make yourself look like a genius when your record clearly shows that you are not.

Then I quoted that, and said it was less than 52% and you'd be losing money at -110 if you played every road favorite.
This is not my statement, nor my claim about road favorites, it was the other poster. And my proof was taking the record you posted for this year (assuming it was accurate) and calculating it to less than 52%.
So in the end, the poster who made the original claim about being concerned about road favorites was certainly just with that worry. Because if he played them all, he would be down money.

Funny you picked two games to yack about that where both could have easily covered. Ark PB was down 9 with under 7 to go and did not score again. Tenn Martin was down 9 with 6:30 to go(admittedly, not as good only getting 12), and scored 4 points the rest of the way. I will take both of those dogs on most nights to split at the worst in that position late in the game. And I certainly would not want to be on both favorites.

I actually have seen all of the teams you have mentioned, outside of NJ Institute of Ketchup & Mustard. Actually saw Chicago State in person. Easy to second guess on a losing night, come back in on a winning night when I have a small conference winner.
