i always like your take on my redbirds..and my illinni...was surprised to see u on them the other night..they should have lost that game u know. i just dont see them holding up to the grueling big ten power teams.  that gaurd they got from bradley...well he is inconsistent so far in my eyes..and who else they have? they seem young and i can only hope they bring the magic back.

redbirds--- god what has happened to them?  i see they are favored tonight..but i must say i cant back them this year. my school has had some good coaches and players run through there but i see noone on that roster that scares me now. bring back the cage and bob donewald...stallings coached teams.

Nropp thanks for the write ups. I'm down and need a lock to throw down on. Harvard n Florida parlay. Or mite add something in w the Georgia tech game. I'm not taking points but the ml. What do u think about them winning just straight. All signs point that they should but yet all are roadies. Any thought would b greatly appreciated.

Any thoughts on NBA, Dallas/Oklahoma City?   I see a lot of people believe this to be a perfect situational cover for Dallas with OKC playing its 4th game in 5 days and coming home after two road games.  Thoughts?

listening to shaka right now on tim brando show and you can sense the excitement in the way he speaks about Weber...great breakdown of that game btw, im with ya on that one..GL

Probably a bit of value with Festus returning, but not sure how much he'll play or how effective he'll be in an up and down.

Illinois is in for a rough year, and ISU is actually on the up and up. Don't really have the superstar, but playing like a team for once.

Cubs had no choice, going to be another rough year.

I think all the teams you listed win straight up. However, parlaying them or teasing or whatever, you're losing value. If you're down, make it a marathon not a sprint. Don't let the results of one night make or break your season.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Rhode Island/Boston College game is a decent rivalry or has been in recent years, and BC has them on deck. Something to consider with a letdown.

growing up in RI then skipping town for four years only to come back, I'd say there was a bit of a rivalry because Al Skinner left URI to coach BC. Now that he's fired, I don't see much. Maybe PC-BC being a rivalry game considering they play every year if I'm not mistaken, but not necessarily URI-BC

Neil -  I was looking at Austin Peay - EKU...From what i remember earlier in the year, youve been saying AP is better than their record.  Im thinking they are starting to perform closer to your expectations...I like them here getting +1.5, even though on the road...whats your take?

Yah, I'm on Peay at 2*. Tough team to prepare for but they've had enough time to do so and haven't struggled with EKU in the past. They have big enough guards to slow EKU down in the continuity sets.
