That's b/c he fudges a half a point on each line he post.  Of course he will say he bet on a game right at opening, or his book had that, but highly unlikely that on 80% of the plays he posts, he will have a better line than you can find.

For example, if he post a team -3, you will find -3.5 or -4, but you will NEVER find a better line that from what he posted like -2.5.  So if he says he bet as soon as the line comes out, and always gets the best line possible, then somethings fishy or he's extremely lucky.  I've watched closely the last few weeks, never posted, but that's my observation.

Having said that, even without the fudged lines, he's still better than most on this site.

If you are going to tail him then why not just buy the  extra half point then you won't have to girl.  I always do and won both games.  It happened the other day with Georgetown.  3 games that turn into winners by simply buying a half a point.  He is simply letting you know what his line is whether he bought 1/2 point or not and it's your responsibility, not his, whether or not you want to buy a point.
It definitely pays off for me.  Amazing when somebody wins on here and people still girl.  friggin Unreal!!!!!!

I'm sorry, I was unaware he has ever said he has bought a point or half-a-point?  At least I've never read it anywhere.  Perhaps if he would state that, that would clear some thing up.

I do not, have not, and never will buy any points in basketball.  You may win this week, or next, but it is a losing proposition in the long-run, but if that's how choose to spend your money, then to each his own.

I was just merely making an observation that the lines he post, most no one can get.  So either he is fudging the line, or he does, in fact, buy points (if he does buy a point, then he should say that).

Its not just him that will give himself a half a point on here though. One night (I don't recall the game) he had a +4.5 line posted, another guy had -3.5 posted, and of course neither one of those lines where listed anywhere, and guess what the number hit on?  Yep, you guessed it; 4.  So both gets to add a notch to their win total, whereas neither number was readily available anywhere.

Holleh molleh. Lines change buddy. Jay didn't say anywhere that Train buys half a point. He just said if u want da same line than YOU buy the half or full point. Someone had 3.5 and some had +4.5? LINES MOVE. This is where back and forth bashing comes from: misreading shit! Don't bother coming back at me because I don't plan on coming back in here but read what I read and had to point it out. OUT

Furthermore, Jay did say that train buys points:

"He is simply letting you know what his line is whether he bought 1/2 point or not"

But I have never seen train say "team A -3 (bought a half)." for a posted play ever.  I could be wrong, but I've just never seen it.

What lines werent available? I lost Temple because I didnt get the best line of 5. I got Hawaii at 8.5 and crus got it at 7 (not that it mattered).

I use 3 online books and have 2 local guys. Lines are usually within a point. Of course some shade the fav as most people tend to think the favorite is automatically the better team, and thus the fav gets more action. So to think if you look around you cant get a .5 point better line somewhere is foolish.

Not sure what people want from me.

I said "whether or not"  Dumb behind.  I 'm sure he has multiple books or bookies that he shops from.

I don't buy points on the games I handicap.  When I don't have time and follow is the only time I buy points.   I agree you can't do that on every game.   But you saying he's fudges the line on every game sounds like your jealousy is getting the best of you.

YOU are the exact reason he doesn't post his record because the one time he accidentally posts the wrong record or forgets to count juice you will be be on here crying about him fudging stuff again.

    Get a life.

Fair enough.  I just know when I look at the lines you have a bet locked in with, I cannot find anywhere.  I have 2 locals and 2 online that I use and will bet the best line possible.

I'm just saying that if you post 10 games, 7-8 of them the line you have posted I cannot find it available.  Now this could be due to the fact you bet it as soon as it comes out, but if that were the case, I would suspect sometimes the line movement would go against you, but it NEVER does.  That's why I'm skeptical.

I do believe you have a knack for picking games, and handicapping, but I do feel like you will fudge a half a point here or there just in case.  I do not blindly follow you or anyone for that matter (except BigEast, he's by far the best on here.  Also, the lines he post, I can always easily find, so he doesn't do any fudging), but I do take a look and decide from there.

I've noticed these line discrepancies before, just never chimed in until others brought it up about how they pushed instead of won.

Just find it amazing that you're always on the correct side of the line movement, and never on the "behind-end" of it.  At any rate, like I said, you are good at picking games, Good luck from here on out.

Train, great night... awesome. You have trouble doing well 2 days in a row... I know b/c when I follow after you win you always garbage yourself.

So unless you have a full card for Friday... you're rock solid as fade material on Saturday.

    Can't wait for your plays!
