btw.  i know its old news, but as someone who watched him at the state tournament last year, i must say that McWhorter kid from Racine was a good get for your sycamores.  the numbers don't tell the whole story.

My man, NC ST was MUCH more experienced LAST YEAR, this year they are VERY young.  Lost 3 3 year starters from last year (which in itself made last years team quite experienced).  That being said, NC St is 13-3-1 ATS in last 17 road games, so they certainly seem capable on the road.  I think Virginia's better team, so line is fair (given 3.5 pts for home court).  Better situation for NC St though Id say

am choosing to back the Virginia Cavaliers as teams that beat North Carolina seem to get energized and play well in their next game. Must be a synergy thing. Almost as if that win legitimizes their program or somethin... I don't know. But the results are

Syracuse 11/20 (-13) Win (Cornell)
Kentucky 12/5 (-1) Win (UCONN)
Texas 12/19 (-10) Win (M.State)
Charleston 1/4 (+3.5) Win (Citadel)
Clemson 1/13 (-5)Loss (NC State) * S/U win 73-70
Georgia Tech 1/16 (-1.5) Win (Clemson)

So that's a perfect 7-0 straight up and 6-1 ats. That's kind of hard to ignore. And what's funny is that in years' past it's always been the kiss of death for a team to beat the champs.


Cuse, Texas and Kentucky were all better than NC, so I dont really see how they fit in with the rest of these. Charleston then played Citadel, awesome. So really you are just looking at three teams and they are 2-1 ATS. Much a do about nothing if you ask me.

I guess what I was more implying was that it was Lowe 2nd year.

From following UNC's pick he definitely is a situational capper and as he states, all the trends w/ the success NC St has on the road and the potential for a UVA let down are his angles.  I agree w/ you from a bball perspective, I like UVA's coach, and I like their players better then NC State almost at every postition.  Although I love that Scott vs. Smith match up two of the more underrated players in the big east.  Landesberg was a beast at Carolina but I could foresee a let down for him tonight as he was on fire the other night. 

I'm staying away as the bball coach and skill angle doesn't totally outweigh the situational angles IMO.

I would not of brought anything up on that thread if he would have just answered the guys question. Its a simple answer that keeps being avoided. He could of lied and I would not of said anything.

I've been around hear a long time and seen what you are talking about and it didn't open my eyes!  Quite frankly your play last night opened my eyes, and it proves that you are a college kid or recently graduated with a lot to learn... However you have a gift for picking games, but anyone who follows you and lays -120 on a total is an amateur.  And 99% of the people wouldn't pick up on what you did last night... It's mind boggling, especially for someone who risks the amount of units you say your risk
