Ill State tomorrow thoughts? Ill State is coming off that rough loss on the Road to Drake. Ill State has beat Creighton by double digits last three times they played at Ill State

Here's an idea. Maybe whoever the loser is that is selling your plays as their own can step in  front of a freight train and put an end to their PATHETIC life. Obviously they are'nt even worthy of being pissed on if they were on fire.

Exactly...If their werent jackasses that actually paid a guy that hopes they pick winners this wouldn't even be an issue.

I was waiting for somebody to see that game...Ill state looks good right, so i go to my site to make a play at -6, and the line is -12...I'm sure its a mistake but with an advantage like that I may just have to take Creighton...I can tell u the site just dont want anybody ratting me out!!

If it's a bigger site (or any site) they will catch it and put it down as 'no action'. If you saw it, you surely weren't the only person. Also, rules state they have a right to deem a play no action when a line was obviously off etc. etc.  But hey, it's worth a shot, I guess. It will just tie your money up until they put it back into your account though. P.S. The MVC is a whacky conference this year. Teams are crushing each other and then turning around and straight up losing to each other. Creighton definitely a better team at home with 16,000 fans backing them up, however...and I believe this is on the road for them.

Thanks Bud...This happened before with an over 2nd half (was off by 6.5 points) and I loaded the max on it (only $500) and it hit even without the help. They never noticed and never said a word and i made a withdrawl..Also, they have UNLV at +9.5!! I already put $500 on that one i liked em at +5.5...

Will be interesting to see what they do. Maybe they let it slide last time because the play didn't need the extra points to cover. Who knows? I suppose it's worth a shot though. I'd watch out for something like that UNLV play though! Although I do like UNLV in that game, they may be putting something up like that on purpose to get people thinking it's an 'accident' and to wager more than they normally would. That way if it hits and needs the extra 4 points, they can take it off the board as a 'no play' but UNLV gets beat by 10, they will just let it slide and take your higher than normal wager. It wouldn't surprise me if a book does this.  

Ah ha...I already thought of that...Trust me, if it looks like I MAY lose, I.m calling them asap b4 it ends and notifying them of the mistake as a good samaritan, having my wager voided. Last ti,e I did this they credited me $100 free play

They are cool, I honestly think its just a mistake. I just happeded to look for it and spotted both errors. I doubt they will notice its not that big a site. If u email me on here or whatever ill tell u the site if u wanna know..

Good luck on your dilema with the picks.  Unfortunately another case of human nature at it's best.  It ultimately rests with what u r comfortable with.  Whatever path u choose you will no doubt have the support from "most" of this board. 

I like the idea of asking Covers to stop it.  They should be able to offer advice regardless. 

UNC    Maybe the season isn't over for ISU. You should be proud of the way they came back in the second half. 60 points in the second half alone. Don't know if that's a MVC record but it's got to be close. I had the other side and lost. Truly amazed at the grit your team showed only to lose in OT. Maybe things will turn around for them sooner than you thought. BOL  By the way, did Bird suit up for them in the second half?

Having been down this road before where my picks were being sold by others, there's not much that can be done. As far as legally, when we post here we are putting our picks into the public domain. Our screen names are not protected intangible assets that are trademarked and we do not have copyrights on the material we post. Professional handicappers may have more of a case if they have legally protected their names and then others are using their name in selling their own products.

The best you can do is contact the site posting your picks and ask them to refrain from doing it or maybe you can even ask someone at the Covers' staff to contact them also.

As far as people privately selling your picks, there is very little recourse and trust me, there is no legal action a person here is going to be able to take. Do people here really think seeking a TRO or injunction is worthwhile or even plausible? Please!

Best of luck UNC. Keep up the great work. Helping others is a nice thing and hopefully the value for that is greater than the hassles you will have to endure such as the issues discussed.
