UNC< thanks for all your doing, keep going as you have been.
I'm new to NCAAB betting, and look at your stuff as well as many others in this site, Swizzol, Koose, KGCapper, Nost., and others. I glean what I can and compare to my capper. 1-5 yesterday.
As for jerks selling your picks. His customers must be pretty steamed to go 1-4 yesterday, for picks they paid for.
Why let some low-life sway your life style. He'll be gone in no time.

My 2 cents about people selling/posting your picks on other forums. There is no way you can stop this. People are stealing movies, music, games, and anything that you can think of that is digital everyday. I took a quick look at these forums, and they are shit compared to covers.com. I enjoy reading your insight into games, and your methods of capping games. I have learned so much about betting all sports since becoming a member of covers.com. You are a very grounded person imo, and that is one of the things i respect most about you. Its great to get the feedback from all the different people on here.
I would keep doing things the way your doing it, and not worry about all the other bullshit. When you post early SOMETIMES people have some good insight about the plays. Many times people just post bullshit, but that's what you get with a public forum.
As long as you feel your getting help with the people on here I would keep posting, but if you feel it is neg. to your capping then i would get away from it.
I personally thank you for all your hard work, and all that i have learned from checking your thread for this season.

As a engineer of a freight train yeah that would be ggod for someone like that but you also screw the life of the employees on that freight train. I know you meant it as a figure of speech but when people do that it affects alot more than people think.

As someone who enjoys following your picks, even though I hate to say this, the answer to the problem is pretty simple. I have been through something like this myself about 15 years ago. I had a source for college football that was flat out lethal. He would win every single weekend, even though he primarily played favorites. Anyways, he would sell me his picks for $500 per weekend. So, what I did to offset the cost, was to turn around and sell them to 4 other guys for $100 per weekend. We all finished the season happy as we all won money. But, he was pissed when he heard I sold his games to 4 of my friends. He refused to sell them to me after that, which I think is kinda chicken$h!t but whatever. Once he stopped selling me the games, I no longer had any possible access to them.
This all being said, I would do the following:
1.) Start a website and post your plays there. Charge anybody who would like to join a monthly fee of $100 or more, and upon payment, grant them access to your site. That way you can post your plays there at whatever time you want and it will make it more difficult for anyone to copy you. Also, you could advertise on the site where this guy is posting your plays and totally undercut him.
2.) Leave covers.com, and post your plays at a different site where there is an annual charge. I know of a site that is great for handicapping where there is none of the negative banter that goes on here. All the cappers are very supportive of one another and some are just as good as you are when it comes to handicapping. I am a member there and it is 100x better than covers.com. It is a place for men and women both to discuss the days options and then root for one another to be successful. It is a significantly more mature site than here.
3.) Post your plays at 3:45pm pst. I would hate to see that, but it may be your best option. Your knowledge and hard work should not be a profit center for some leach out there. I give the guy credit, he is making money for punching in keys on a computer, but you could cut his head off easily if you wait to post your plays.
Finally, is there any possible way to start 2 threads? Maybe the first one be your leans, and then allow all the members here to post all their nonsensical BS on that thread. In another thread post your plays, and then those of us that follow you can go there for the plays. If the locals cant figure it out, Im sure they will get plenty of guidance from those of us who cant stand sifting through 15 pages just to finally figure out what you are on for the day.

I am not going tout just you guys know that and the ones that know me better than most on this site know that also and you respected ones know who you are. Lets just make that clear I have no intentions of doing that. I am happy with what I am doing for myself and helping others as it is.
Now I am going to open this up to all of you what should I do about this. This I dont appreciate and find it very disrespectful. Not really sure how to handle this nor do I even know where to begin. I will more than likely start posting my plays closer to tip now and I dont want to do that as you guys are going to get worse lines. Any ideas?
I said this the other day slickly and nobody commented on it. I addressed a covers member in one of your weekend threads. The reality is there is a bunch of scum out there and that website previously mentioned does that with all the top forum guys. Inevitably, they forum guys end up going tout because of that and then all hell breaks lose.
With that said there is a reason these things happen. #1 I saw BALL PICKER personally distribute your plays on a number of paid forums the other night/morning. People post Peyton34 plays and Kindegardencapper. It's people on this forum who think they are cool or will get a pat on the back when they show the world this great new winning cappers plays, like BatMan saving Gotham City. Instead, it causes issues like this because the scum out there see that your plays are being posted/requested and feel they can make a buck from it. This can be prevented when people like BP don't do this. Just a heads up

The truth is your having fun making money and helping people out along the way. I been betting for about 6 years and doing good at it. It is not my life and I have been blessed with the knowledge and the income where I can do this and enjoy it. And a understanding wife!!!!
But lets face the facts...There is and will always be assholes and disrespectful people out there. We can not change that and we can not control that. Man you can cap the games!!!! Control what you can and then let the assholes be!!!!!

Not to mention Mac Koshwal is out, he is there leading scorer and rebounder. No one else on the team averages over 5 boards. Depaul should get abused on the Glass. Only thing I could see is this would be a look ahead game as Marquette has Syracuse on the road after this game.

I have decided not to pursue anything with this guys. I have come to realize there is in all honesty nothing I can do. I appreciate all the feedback though and for you guys to take time out of your day to respond.
Anyways I feel PITT is shaping up to be a headfake play.
As for the X line movement I really do not know whats going on with that. X as shown me they can compete on the road this year and with great ATS history in this series I still feel confident with the number at 3. I thought about adding more but I am not going to put myself in that position like I did last night in ILL.
These 4 are it for the night im not going to force another play. Hopefully I can bounce back tonight but I got a feeling that bad stretch is coming that I have avoided all season and really in all sports besides NBA. Im out boys catch you guys after the games. Maybe one play tomorrow but as of now tomorrow looks like a day off.

I'm with you on Pitt. Gotta ride that hot hand and home winning streak. That and G'town has yet to show they can win and cover in close games. 0 and something in lines less then 4.
I'm oppo on the X play. As you know, you have to have drop dead shooters to beat that Temple zone and X isn't a good stand still jump shot team. They get 3's in transition and on wing kick outs off penetration which will be limited against this zone. X coming off a rivalry battle vs. Dayton and I look for them to be flat coming out. Temple will have a chip to prove they can win vs. good teams at home. I like them to control from the out set. This # is at 4.5 and that's getting stretched IMO. BOL sir.

All this talk about beating the books, etc is a little misleading. In the end we are betting against each other. If you win, some other guy is losing, not the book. Although I do realize that some books and maybe more so the locals don't always find another side to your wager and just expect that you will eventually lose with bad picks or just the accumulated juice.

Respect some of what you say but I scratch my head on a few other things you mentioned. First off, it doesn't matter how much you move on a game that you can't take anyone's plays on Covers seriously. That's like a billionaire saying he has too much money to take advice from a financial planner or sophisticated portfolio manager because those people don't have as much money as him.
If a guy like UNC or anyone else here has a sharp opinion and wins on a regular and consistent basis, you'd be foolish not to take him seriously. I'm not saying that you would tail him or anyone for that matter, but you can still learn from such insight. What makes your opinion more valuable? Because you might have more money than him or someone else? Money doesn't necessarily mean your opinion is more valuable than someone else's. That is why I like Covers. I am certain that in baseball, I play more per game than 99.5% of the people here, however, I respect that there are some people here who may be only $50 bettors that actually have a strong, valuable and insightful opinion. You sound like a bright guy but you also come across like you think you are better than everyone else and could never learn from others.
Secondly, it looks like someone is selling his picks on another site as part of a package of obtaining professional picks. There's a sucker born every minute and there are plenty of people on other sites who may not know who UNC is and that his picks are available for free.
I agree with some of your thoughts and you seem knowledgeable but you also come across quite arrogant and holier than thou.
