The more I sit around bored as I dont have work today...the more this KSU-TEX game is itching at me....Thing is...With TEX now getting pts, the itch is worse......Im starting to buy into the idea that this line is what it is, and the support for KSU is more because of TEX's performance against A & M.......TEX hasnt beat a quality team on the road, but they have beaten 3 ranked teams by dbl digits....KSU Im not positive but dont believe theyve even played a ranked team....I see the comments on how KSU needs this win for their resume, but doesnt TEX also ? especially the conference notch on the board ?

I really want to pull the trigger on this Cuse/ND over. I am a longtime Cuse fan and haven't missed a game in years.
That
being said, if this was your normal Cuse team, I could see ND putting
up 80+ and hitting 3's all night. However, this Cuse team is a beast
on D compared to years past.
Although ND is shooting 42.1%
from 3, Cuse is holding its opponents to 30%. Plus, Notre Dame has not
played any defense powerhouses at home other than West Virginia, a team
that held ND to 25 in the 2nd half.
In years past, the score
between ND and Cuse has been so high because of lights out shooting by
kyle mcalarney on ND and lackluster defense by Syracuse.
This
years team's makeup is much different than years past. If the zone is
on, I could easily see Cuse holding ND under 70. Last year we held ND
to 74 and we didn't even know the definition of the word defense.
Plus, ND's supporting cast hasn't exactly done much to help L.H. this
year.
With Wes Johnson being sick recently, and this being
the third road game of the week, I see 'Cuse putting up similar numbers
like they did at WVU (70-75). It will be enough to win the game, but I
don't know if it will go over.
I know the history between the 2 teams and current stats
show a shoot-out. But I have watched Cuse for years, as well as a few
ND games this season, and I think the better bet may be under.

hasn't played a team that can shoot the 3 on the road yet, and ND
hasn't played a team at home that can lock down on D like Cuse can. That
being said, if Cuse shuts it down on D like they have been, ND shoots under 35 from 3. But who knows, ND is a tough place to play, and if they get hot, anything can happen, see first half WV.
