1) Octagon of Death in Bramlage will be a huge plus for the cats.
2) We have been known to take Texas down a notch when they are on their high chair. Granted we didn't do it last time we played them but we have their number historically in Football and Basketball.
Texas - 78
KSU - 85
Best of luck everybody!

Excellent writeup, UNC. I was courtside in Boulder on Saturday. It was rather obvious that the Cats had Texas on the brain, yet they were able to play well enough when they needed to. Lot's of brainfarts, miscommunication, etc.
Jamar Samuels spent nearly the entire first half on the bench and in the doghouse (then made two huge plays at the end of the game to seal it), so he should have his head on straight tonight. He has a habit of getting suckered into personal battles that result in cheap whistles.
It's actually a "beard out" night at Bramlage. 1000 free beards are being handed out. Besides the home game with KU vs Beasley a few years ago, it will be about as crazy as it gets. The Cats need this one badly as upcoming games don't set up well at all (though it presents some opportunities to cash against KSU).
I'm a little concerned that all those Cats covers during the 7-1-1 run were as a dawg. Nevertheless, this game offers multiple reasons to make it a bigger than normal play (lower ranked home team vs #1, Texas coming off a tough/emotional A&M game, somewhat of a sandwich with UCONN on deck and Barnes can tell his team all about how tough KSU is- they may not listen with UCONN coming up yada yada yada), so let's not dwell on the puny shit.
Should be a very entertaining game.
Leaning Under as well. Good luck.
You KState folk are an odd bunch...

Schoolboy03, you do realize that the beards are referring to Pullen, right? Just checking...It is not too wierd. It would be wierd if nobody on our team had a beard like that.
Please tell me that you realized that to begin with...If so, then why is this so wierd to you? Then again, K State fanbase is very unique and takes a lot of pride in its school and players. Maybe that is the wierd thing about us.
Go Cats!

Yes I realize this. Everytime I turn on a KSU game it is some kind of "insert random color out." Also I remember seeing a video of this goofy power cat towel rally song a couple of years ago...

No clue what I'm going to do w/ Kst/Tex but your write up makes a lot of sense. My only concern right now with KSt, and I saw this appear in their game with Mizzou, is that in big highly emotional games they almost get too hyped and everyone tries to do too much instead of making the easy plays. I know that is anecdotal but when they try and play too fast they turn it over and you don't want to turn it over against Tex b/c you will pay. That said, I can say that Texas hasn't seen the type of defensive pressure that they will see tonight. I still think Texas's achilles heal is their pt guard play and you need a steady one against the cats on the road. BOL!

UNC are you gonna be taking Cuse? Or is it just a lean?
Im backing off buddy. I just dont want to get burned by the 3 ball in this one. Besides that betting on or against CUSE has been a killer for me over the years. I think there is some value in the total as they these 2 teams will get up and down tonight and with as good as ND can light it up from deep this one should sail over.
