That wasn't an act and thats how he feels for his kids. He is trying to console a kid who knew he was out of the game, might have just lost millions of dollars and was in obvious pain.

Two things:
I've torn my ACL and I can attest to the pain Butler was in so I can understand a coach trying to console a guy that is in a pain that is beyond belief
As a coach myself (club soccer with teenagers) I can tell you that spending 3-5 years with a kid makes for a close relationship. I have gotten choked up whena kid of mine gets hurt badly so I completely understand him getting down there like that to be with him. Kid was like a son to him and I know I would be right there with one of my own kids
I have a new found respect for Huggins quite honestly
