They have very talented bigs. But they’re getting severely out coached and out schemed in this game. Indiana also doesn’t have a PG. Watched Myles Rice a lot in PAC12 (rip) country last year. He’s got shit handles, slow, can’t shoot. He’s battled a ton of health issues, good story but awful player. Not sure why they went out and NIL’d him to a huge deal. The lack of ball handling has made this game likely pretty much over. Indiana isn’t equipped to comeback from big deficits with little outside shooting. So unless they shoot like 70% in the second half and don’t turn it over, if you took them I’d start looking for a new game.
Hes a zero jag. Seems like anytime he’s on the hot seat his teams randomly make a run. Anytime his teams are suppose to be good they underachieve. I still like this roster. If they had a ball handler it could be a very high upside season. You’ll see them probably lose a lot of close games though unless another PG steps up. I haven’t familiarized with the bottom of the roster. But Myles Rice is pulled off the floor late in games/quarters because he can’t defend or dribble. So no idea why he’s a starting PG.
I read all the comments. It was a bad line. Now +9.5 doesn't Indiana need some credibility here? Unless something changes I want to see how they do but I lean +9.5 this is still a good team but maybe a bad favorite. To stay close here and they dont have to dominate? I like the points.
