Cronin is reloading piece by piece, with the biggest piece (John Blackwell) visiting tomorrow. If Blackwell lands there (more likely than many think), this line may land around +3000. I like it enough for my first 2026-2027 scratch off.

Gard put together the sneakiest portal acquisitions of the class, in my opinion. Eian Elmer was a catalyst on Miami Oh 31-0 regular season, and Trey Autry is a great “professional” addition, son of Adrian Autry. And speaking of professional, Owen Foxwell actually is, playing the last 4 years professionally overseas. Victory Onuetu is also a nice get. He’s exactly what they were missing last year as a paint protector (with a presence like him, they would have rolled past High Point). If these guys mesh with the returning starters, Austin Rapp and Nolan Winter (which just about all of Gards newcomers have in recent years) this is a team that can go on a deep run with their rich experience. Non Con schedule also sets up well - some nice opponents but manageable and a lower tier that wont kill SOS (Denver, Delaware, Fairfield, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Marquette, Villanova, Seton Hall/NC St, Auburn; as the core).
