I'm not going to Tunica, my mother n law is ok but not up to the trip just yet. So ill be staying in my office most of the weekend, walking and working on sports.

But when I do leave Covers, I suggest some of u adopt the one at a time format, recalculate your Bankroll after each wager. Use 5% of bankroll on each play, its aggressive but your recalculating after each bet. This will allow u to take advantage of your win streaks and ride out your losing ones better.

Let me tell u a short story. Some 20-25 yrs ago I was part owner in a small illegal book. Mostly in Huntsville Alabama. We probably had 50-100 players year round, more during football and basketball season. I stepped away, was bought out to go a different direction but the guy who replaced me has become a close friend of mine over the years, so close he handles some money for me from time to time. 

When I wager in a one time format and give him my play, he always rolls the bet and adds to it. He never eats it. He is connected from Nashville to Birmingham with bigger shops. I'm surprised these guys still exist. I understand Alabama but I guess its still old school guys or guys who play on credit. 

He says as a bookie and he still tells me. If u play 10 games (high volume), ill keep all of it. But if u bet just one, I'm in with you.

This tells me alot. 

I'll be doing business with my friend this weekend and the days ahead, especially the football selections and when we get to the tourneys later on in basketball.

Most of you guys don't know anyone who wagers like I do. It still fascinates me. Guys sitting around trying to figure out the games. As if u can out think the books. It amazes me that anyone can possibly be profitable handicapping these days. I've rambled enough, just bored today.

Here is some more rambling from my office as I sit here on a dreary day.

Most of u won't understand what I'm talking about but if u do, email me sometime.

There are 3 types of bettors in general.

1. The big group, this is 90%-95% of the people on covers. U support the game, the handicapper, the guesser, the fan. This is where most people fit in. Its the big group. Just read thread after thread here. Its just opinion, a guess or a handicapper. They are all the same. Thank u, you keep the game going.

2. The Top Down Bettor. These guys make money but they have a job. They are screen watchers, they get the best number and this is what wins. Like this, if Pinnacle is running (-7) and u have (-6) u have a good bet. These guys win. 

3. A bottom up bettor. This is me.... This is a line originator. The model builder, the hardest thing to do in this business. I pit my total against the books total. Its a true battle. 

I'll end with this. 

I have my Power Total tonight. The book opened at 140.5 and that was wrong, they moved to 145 and thsts wrong. The guessers would guess 146 on this one and that would be wrong. The correct Mathematical Total on this game is (151.46).

@MITM Your success has been remarkable, but I am not at all the type to post every day and tell you how darn wonderful you are or, to put it more crudely, to suck up to you. But with that being said, your posts today at 2:19 and 2:41 were extremely interesting.

What's going on with the line seen it as high as 145 to 146 and now down to 142 can only  think of a couple of people who can make these lines move like this

 Just saw the line move from 142 to 146 back to 142 now. making me think it will be an under 142 now… which I said bc I have a nice bet on Troy game over 142.5 ??

   Go back ann look at the post what famous gambler come from Tennessee and where was the bookie from and where is tonight's game mitm has made me money and I'm not trying to show any disrespect just not passing the sniff test.   If I'm wrong I'm wrong and am man enough to admit it I'm 60 + years old not my first rodeo

 Both small conference I got 140 last night when I bet and when I seen it at 146. I bailed look at this thread total. We are moving these lines. No other games are moving like this.  Roll tide
