When you model, how much weight o you put on recent games?

HOw far back do youi use data, as we are about 5 games in?

 I put alot of weight on recent games. I do value season long stats but not as much as recent. Its about 80-20. 

I update daily or i should say, after each game played so as the season progresses it should get stronger.

 I update each team individually. Keeping everything correct and very current is probably the most important thing. 

Bad data can lead to a losing selection. Keep it correct and current. But don't completely ignore the season long data. Mine is around 80-20.

This conversation is ridiculous, did somebody actually think we would win every bet.

Well now that the win streak has ended, ill pick the volume up slightly but this remains a one at a time format.

Ok look at the game where it is. At 143 you need 72 per half to win the over. I've seen crazier things happen in college basketball. Perhaps the extra 15 points will be made in foul shooting or enter 3 pointers.

I agree for the most part, short of an OT it’s 80+% done.   That said.  Falcon, & some others are right, anyone thinking we’d follow and go 25-0 or 50-0 etc are a little nuts. I actually understood just 1 of Cheech earlier posts about hoping for more plays earlier but idc, this is falcons baby, it’s his play(s), either shut up & leave the thread.  Or be positive. Or go do better yourself.  I play my strongest plays/sports mixed in with falcons knowing he’s going to usually do better than mine.  But I love the combination. Let the man work, be grateful for what you see posted.  

id be happy if the threads don’t end, but if they did I would get emails— and I’d send him a Christmas gift card.

I’ve lost beforefollowing him and haven’t b*tched once.  I’ve had a much better 10 ishhh days thanks to nhl and Falcon.   Cheech. chill.  We all get frustrated but don’t piss off the hot hand please lol.

Here is a suggestion, stop betting if u relying on other people to do your research for you and when you tail and they don’t pick a winner you complain. You seem like  a college kid home for thanksgiving getting ready to tell your parents you can’t go back to school because the town bookie is waiting to collect.
