nropp thanx for the picks ur a great guy.... i was wondering by any chance if you had a lean in the fairfield and siena game tomorrow @ siena...... the records obviously favor fairfield and siena had lost key players like ubyless etc ..... which im sure not to many people know about...

12/9 Results: Going back a few nights, Texas A&M hung an 89. A few days ago I noted that A&M is playing an extremely slow pace, primarily due to the fact that they’ve played some extremely slow pace teams (#234, #300, #221, #290, #337, and #334). The games they haven’t, they have shot it extremely well. They get Washington on Saturday in a game that’s probably going to be lined in the low to mid 150’s. The games they played a high pace rating, they scored 88 (against #3) and 87 (against #66). They get Washington (#4) on Saturday, why can’t they put up another 80+? Florida 3-16 from the three point line, still struggling. Sullinger kid is tough, 40 and 13. The Butler/Xavier and Temple/Georgetown games were very good fundamental, defensive battles. If only I could watch those types of game every night of the year.

12/10 Notes: Michigan with revenge. Iowa with revenge and the home team’s won the last seven in the series. In last year’s game, both teams show awfully well in a game that totaled 152 in a game lined at 129. Both teams are playing faster up and down games this years, so they could score some points yet again. However, both teams defensive efficiencies have gotten a lot better too. Rivalry games I would almost always lean to the under, and that’s probably the only thing I could look at in this game with two improved defensive squads. The whole in-state matchup thing is pretty important in the state of Iowa, and I put this total around 130ish. UC Irvine is coming off a horrible home loss to San Jose State, due in part b/c San Jose State had decent enough guards to stick with Cal Irvine’s guards. Same can be said for Wyoming tonight, they are athletic enough to contain and score on UC Irvine. I would definitely look at UC Irvine here if I could find anything on Eric Wise returning. He was supposed to return early December and he’s the single focal point of everything this offense does. He has yet to return, and I can’t find any updates. The kid would single-handedly be the #1 ingredient in beating Wyoming’s matchup zone. Without him, UC Irvine will continue to trot out the four guard offense and against zone principles, it’s either make or break from the three point line. Wyoming’s lost 13 straight on the road and under Coach Schroyer are just 6-32. Not interested in Santa Clara or San Jose State, too many inconsistencies in both team’s approach. The lone conference game of the night features Fairfield going into a tough place to play in Siena. This would be my #2 and #3 squads in the MAAC. Fairfield has triple revenge from it’s three losses last year to Siena and Fairfield battled about as many injuries as any team in Division One last year, yet were still able to compete at a high level. Arguments can be made for both teams here and I would say the line is probably about right. If I was going to side with Fairfield, it would be b/c of the revenge and they played three extremely close ballgames with Siena last year with what I would call a second-tier group of guys. If I was going to side with Siena, it’d be because they’ve had Fairfield’s number for six straight games and the home court advantage is bigger in this gym than any other place in the MAAC. I could be missing out on a good opportunity for Fairfield here, but I think the better spot lies down the road in what could potentially be a revenge game in a PK situation in late February with a conference title possibly on the line.
