#4 SYRACUSE vs ST. JOHN'S
First we have Syracuse only laying 2.5 points to St. John's. The Johnnies are off to a great start under Lavin as they are 10-4 and 3-1 in the conference, but Syracuse is #4 in the country and undefeated!!! 16-0!!! Why only 2.5???
SYR are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 road games. STJ are 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 home games. The road team is 11-2 ATS in the last 13 meetings.
St.John's looked like they had an impressive win against Georgetown a few weeks back, but looking at how the Hoyas have played of late dosen't make that win look so impressive anymore. And this past saturday they got spanked by 15 against Notre Dame.
#5 PITTSBURGH vs #22 GEORGETOWN
Next we have Georgetown spotting Pitt 2.5 points! Georgetown is 12-4 and only 1-3 in conference and Pitt is 15-1 and 3-0 in conference and #5 in the country. The road team is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings.
Georgetown started 11-1 with some impressive wins, but their last 4 games are a 14 point loss to Notre Dame, a hard faught 9 point win against a POOR DePaul team, a 3 point loss to St.John's, and a 6 point loss to West Virginia. And now they are playing a Pitt team that rebounded from their first loss with 5 straight wins and finally looks like it is starting to hit their stride.
Everything points to betting Syracuse -2.5 and Pittsburgh +2.5!!!
