They can be although if you like a team pre game and are trailing in the game you can sometimes get great value if you like them to come back. Once a team takes the lead people want to back the front runner but teams come back all the time.....doubt that happens today but I saw CAL was +1025 already so a 0.1 unit bet can now hedge my CAL ML to O play IF (big if) they come back to win.
But yeah I've seen plenty of time where totals are -120 on both sides which is a total rip. So if I make any they will only be for 0.25 units tops and just for fun,I'm not risking taking a chunk of a potentially big day.
