Favorites to win the Coke Zero Sugar 400

Denny Hamlin has lingered at or near the top of the NASCAR Cup Series standings all season despite not yet winning a race, and oddsmakers are tabbing him as the favorite (+750) in the regular-season finale. Hamlin trails Kyle Larson by 28 points, and can still claim the regular-season championship in scenarios where Larson tallies less than 32 points in the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Hamlin has a strong history on this track, finishing third in this event last year, while winning the Daytona 500 in both 2020 and 2019.

Speaking of Larson, he's predictably the next man up on the odds board at +1,100. Larson has been on a dominant run this summer, posting a litany of wins and Top-3 finishes en route to his status as the Cup Series odds favorite. He'll be hungry to put the stamp on the regular-season title.

Sitting third on the odds board in defending Cup Series champ Chase Elliott (+1,200). Elliott has been on a strong run of late, posting Top-10 finishes in five of the past six races, but he is well back of Larson and Hamlin, currently in fifth in this season's overall points standings.

How to bet on NASCAR

The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.

Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
