Week 12 in the CFL wraps up on Saturday night with a battle between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders.
These have been the two best teams in the league, and my Roughriders vs Stampeders predictions are betting on the home side to prevail.

My Roughriders vs Stampeders pick: Stampeders moneyline (+100 at BET99)
The Calgary Stampeders defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders 24-10 when these teams clashed in Regina in Week 6. Calgary passed for 428 yards in that game while adding another 134 yards on the ground.
I'm expecting a closer contest this time, but I like the Stamps to get the win. Although the Riders have won four in a row and currently look like the best team in the CFL, the Stamps have been just as impressive when healthy.
Two of their three losses came with quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. injured, while the other was in a game with torrential downpour and extreme wind. They squeaked by Winnipeg in their last contest, but outgained the Bombers by 105 yards and won the turnover battle while committing fewer penalties.
That victory could easily have been more lopsided, and they should be even more motivated this week. They trail the Riders by two games in the standings, and a loss would make it an uphill battle for them to close the gap.
This should be a battle between two evenly matched teams. That said, the Stamps are fresh off a bye and will have home-field advantage.
I also don't trust Riders kicker Brett Lauther, who has only hit 22 of 33 field goal attempts for an ugly 66.7% success rate. Those are the kind of factors that can swing a close contest.

It's tough to handicap the total in this game. Both teams have highly efficient offenses led by MOP candidate quarterbacks, but they also rank first and second in the league in scoring defense.
That said, Saskatchewan's defense is red-hot, and these teams combined for just 34 points in the first meeting despite rolling up 975 yards of net offense. Both of these stop units do a great job of preventing big plays, and the offenses are comfortable leaning on their ground games.
In a game of this magnitude, don't be surprised if these offenses play a bit more conservatively than usual, which should lead to this contest finishing below the total.
