The Hamilton Tiger-Cats host the Montreal Alouettes in the East Final on Saturday afternoon.
The Ticats had a pair of blowout wins against the Als during the regular season, but Montreal is a 2.5-point road favorite here, and my Alouettes vs. Tiger-Cats predictions are backing the visitors to cover.

Alouettes vs Tiger-Cats prediction
My Alouettes vs Tiger-Cats pick: Alouettes -2.5 (-125 at BET99)
The Montreal Alouettes looked like the best team in the CFL at the start of the year before a slew of injuries derailed their offense. They are now at full strength, and getting back star quarterback Davis Alexander after a two-month absence has made a huge difference.
Alexander has gone a perfect 12-0 in his career as a starter, and he completed 24-of-34 passes for 384 yards in the East Semi-Final against Winnipeg. Meanwhile, Montreal's rushing attack has been ignited by Stevie Scott, who claimed the starting RB job in September.
The Als are 6-1 in their last seven games, with an average scoring margin of +9.7 points per game. Their only defeat during that span came in the meaningless regular-season finale, where they rested key starters.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats were inconsistent toward the end of the season. They went 2-2 in their last four games, with a pair of blowout losses and the wins coming against non-playoff teams led by third-string quarterbacks.
The Ticats have the worst run defense in the CFL and ranked sixth in yards allowed per pass attempt (8.62). That last number is particularly worrying since Hamilton played six games against teams led by backup pivots — including both meetings against Montreal.
In games against regular starting QBs, the Ticats were torched for 9.85 yards per pass attempt. Their defense led the league with 27 interceptions, but a whopping 18 of them came against backup passers. I'll back the team with more momentum and a better stop unit.
Alouettes vs Tiger-Cats same-game parlay (SGP)
The Alouettes beat the Blue Bombers 42-33 in a shootout last week. I'm expecting their offense to put up plenty of points with Alexander at the helm and Scott pounding the rock behind a stout offensive line.
That said, the Ticats should be able to put up points of their own thanks to All-Star QB Bo Levi Mitchell. The MOP candidate should have time to find his talented receivers since Montreal released it's best interior pass rusher, Shawn Oakman, last week after he breached the league's gender-based violence and harassment policy
