The Montreal Alouettes face the Saskatchewan Roughriders at the 112th Grey Cup in Winnipeg on Sunday.
Montreal is led by quarterback Davis Alexander, while Saskatchewan's offense is spearheaded by two-time Grey Cup winner Trevor Harris. That said, with temperatures below zero at Princess Auto Stadium, expect a run-heavy approach and shorter throws from both teams.
That has me backing Tyler Snead, A.J. Ouellette, and Shea Patterson on their player props.
Here are my best Alouettes vs. Roughriders player props and CFL picks for November 16.

Grey Cup prop picks
Prop bet #1: Tyler Snead Over 55.5 receiving yards
With freezing temperatures in Winnipeg on Sunday, it will be harder for quarterbacks to grip the ball. That tends to result in fewer deep throws and more passes to short and mid-range targets.
In addition, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have a pair of elite boundary corners in Tevaughn Campbell and Marcus Sayles, and their secondary does a great job of limiting downfield plays.
Both of those factors should lead to the Montreal Alouettes relying on Tyler Snead in the slot.
The sure-handed slotback led Montreal in targets (117), receptions (84), and receiving yards (1129) during the regular season. He's eclipsed 55.5 receiving yards in eight of his last 13 games and has become Davis Alexander's most reliable target when the Als need a first down.
Prop bet #2: A.J. Ouellette Over 81.5 rushing yards
A.J. Ouellette finished second in the league with 1,222 rushing yards on 4.9 yards per rush attempt during the regular season.
The Alouettes' defense has been elite against the pass, allowing a league-low 7.66 yards per pass attempt during the regular season. However, they were vulnerable against the run, ranking sixth in rushing yards allowed per game (103.1) and seventh in yards allowed per carry (5.4).
That run D could be even worse after they cut star defensive tackle Shawn Oakman for violating the league's gender-based violence and harassment policy.
With frigid temps at the Western Final in Regina last week, Ouellette carried the rock 17 times for 113 yards. Expect the bruising RB to get a heavy workload in another cold-weather game on Sunday.
Prop bet #3: Shea Patterson anytime touchdown
Due to the one-yard neutral zone, quarterback sneaks are extremely common in the CFL, which leads to plenty of touchdowns from goal-line specialists.
Shea Patterson is Montreal's goal-line QB after being signed to replace the injured Caleb Evans in August. Patterson punched the ball into the end zone six times in just eight regular-season games for the Als.
Montreal's offense has been on fire since getting back to full strength. With the exception of the Eastern Final, the Als' offense has been moving the ball at will lately. That should get them close to the goal line, where they can deploy the 212-pound Patterson to run it in.
Patterson actually played for Saskatchewan last year and rushed for seven touchdowns. Scoring a touchdown against his former team at the Grey Cup would be fitting for the hard-nosed QB.
