My Lions vs Argonauts pick: Lions -3.5 (-110 at BET99)
The Toronto Argonauts have gone from first to worst, with the reigning Grey Cup champs sitting at the bottom of the CFL standings with a 2-8 record.
Toronto's offense was expected to struggle with QB Chad Kelly sidelined, but backup Nick Arbuckle and the passing attack have been the only positives. The offensive line has been awful, with the Argos churning out a league-low 48.2 rushing yards per game on 3.7 yards per pop.
Meanwhile, their defense has been getting torched against the run and pass. Toronto allows a CFL-worst 114.4 rushing yards per game and ranks dead-last in yards allowed per pass attempt (9.7).
They'll be shredded by a BC Lions offense that leads the CFL in yards per game (427.1), yards per play (7.59), and second-down conversion rate (55.3%), while sitting second in big plays (30).
BC pivot Nathan Rourke is red-hot, throwing for more than 330 yards in five of his last six games, and James Butler leads the CFL with 785 rushing yards on 5.5 yards per carry. The Boatmen don't have the firepower to keep up.

I expect the Leos to light up Toronto's pathetic defense, but Arbuckle has been airing it out when playing from behind. He's thrown for 1,923 yards in his last six contests, and the Argos had eclipsed their team total in seven-straight games before struggling in the red zone last week.
BC is vulnerable in the back end, ranking seventh in the league in opponent pass efficiency while giving up a league-high 21 completions of 30+ yards. The Argos won't be able to keep up on the scoreboard, but they'll do their part to eclipse the lofty total.
