The Saskatchewan Roughriders return home to Mosaic Stadium in Regina, looking to end a two-game losing streak on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET (TSN), against the Toronto Argonauts.
The CFL odds have the defending Grey Cup champions as a 3.5-point favorite, and my Argonauts vs. Roughriders predictions and CFL picks project Saskatchewan to snap its losing streak in front of the home crowd.
Who will win Argonauts vs Roughriders: Roughriders -3.5 (-118)
The Saskatchewan Roughriders remain the Grey Cup odds favorite in the West, despite two straight losses.
But those losses came on the road, and now they return home to arguably the best home crowd in the CFL to take on a Toronto Argonauts team that hasn't been at its best outside of Hog Town.
In a season in which the Argos have rarely played at home due to the World Cup, being away from Toronto has taken its toll.
The Argonauts are 1-4 ATS in their last five away games, averaging just 23.6 PPG while giving up 33.2.
Chad Kelly's health and turnover issues have been a problem for Toronto, with the former CFL MOP throwing a league-high 15 interceptions.
That won't fly against a Roughriders defense that has the most sacks in the West (21) and allows the fourth-fewest PPG (27.1).
However, the Roughriders' inconsistent play as of late would make me hesitant to take them to cover a bigger spread.

Argonauts vs Roughriders total prediction: Under 62.5 (-108)
The Argonauts have gone from the hottest Over team in the CFL to the hottest Under team, but their game totals remain high.
After hitting the Over in the first four games of the season (with an average game total of 56), they've hit the Under in five of their last six.
Over those six games, Toronto's average game total was 61.
And during the six games, they've played on the road four times, hitting the Under each time and averaging just 20.5 PPG ... nearly 10 points fewer than their season average.
With Saskatchewan having one of the better defenses in the CFL, Kelly and Co. should struggle to put up more than 27 on the road.
And the Roughriders' offense hasn't been nearly as consistent without AJ Ouellette, who remains out.
The Under is in play as long as the game total is 60.5 or higher.
Argonauts vs Roughriders same-game parlay
For the Roughriders to bounce back with a win and cover, their defense needs to take advantage of Kelly's mistakes and hold Toronto to fewer than four touchdowns.
If Saskatchewan does that, the Over will be in rough shape.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are 2-5 betting the Over since the beginning of July.
