It's a battle of the two remaining East teams yet to crack into the win column when the Toronto Argonauts face the Ottawa Redblacks on Saturday.

Toronto and Ottawa have played just one game heading into Week 3, with the Argos not starting till Week 2, and the Redblacks getting a bye in Week 2.

With new Ottawa head coach Ryan Dinwiddie going against his former team, my Argonauts vs. Redblacks predictions and free CFL picks have the home team using his intel to get their first win.

Argonauts vs Redblacks prediction

Argonauts vs Redblacks best bet: Redblacks +1.5 (-115)

The Toronto Argonauts' defense was burned for 490 yards against Montreal, but the bigger question is whether the Argos can stay on the field offensively.

Chad Kelly threw for 445 yards and three touchdowns last week, but the Ottawa Redblacks defense allowed just 257 passing yards in its opener and now has Dinwiddie scheming against his former QB.

If the Redblacks can establish Greg Bell, they can shorten the game, limiting Kelly's possessions.

Bell missed Week 2 but is expected back. He rushed for 152 yards and a score in two tilts against Toronto last year. I'd back Ottawa up to -1.5.

Covers COVERS INTEL: With new Ottawa coach Ryan Dinwiddie having coached Toronto the last five years, his intel and scheming should slow down Chad Kelly after a torrid Week 2 start, and new RB Greg Bell can help control the game and keep the Argos off the field.

Argonauts vs Redblacks same-game parlay

Dinwiddie probably knows that his new QB Jake Maier is not going to be successful if Ottawa gets into a shootout with the Argonauts, which is why Bell getting back into the lineup is crucial.

The Redblacks' 29-21 loss is about the score range they're going to need to be in to hang in games – and he should know.

As head coach of the opposition, in the last 10 games, Toronto was 8-2 against the Redblacks, with the Over going 8-2-0

Dating back to last season, the Redblacks have gone Under the total in five of their last six games.
