LoneStar Bet does a few things very differently from other online gaming platforms, even if it looks similar to many of them on the surface. These are the key features that stuck out to us when we were reviewing the platform:

LoneStar Bet has a small collection of around 150 games. Most of the library consists of free slots with a single roulette title and a handful of Plinko options. It is on the lower side, but it makes sense given how the platform works in an entirely different way than their competitors.

There isn’t the typical setup where you can have thousands of titles from many providers, as the games are designed to work with the horse racing wagering system, which limits how many can be offered.

Software providers

The main contributor to the library is Kalamba Games, but you can also find some titles from 2by2 Gaming, Magic Horse, and OddsWork. Kalamba is a well-known provider, but not quite at the same level as the biggest software providers in online gaming, like Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, or Evolution. So, the software here doesn’t always have the same level of polish or modernity, but it’s reliable enough for what it is.

Summary

Playing games at LoneStar Bet felt no different from any other casino during our LoneStar Bet review, but what’s happening in the background is completely different. Tying every spin's results to real, verifiable horse racing outcomes adds a new level of transparency compared with other casinos where you have to blindly trust the RNG. It also feels extra trustworthy because multiple U.S. horse racing bodies license it.

A couple of other standout features stood out. The weekend and weekly cashback were useful promos, and the tournaments added a bit of competition to the gaming experience. LoneStar is also available in many states that don’t allow traditional online casinos, and even some that don’t usually allow sweepstakes casinos, like California and New York.

It’s not all perfect. The game library is small, and there aren’t many games besides slots. Plus, the platform itself can feel a bit clunky at times. For now, it doesn’t really compete with top real-money, sweepstakes, or social casinos.
