My Spain vs Belgium props and goal scorer predictions

Spain Mikel Oyarzabal anytime goal scorer

Kalshi probability: 41%

Mikel Oyarzabal has scored in six of his last nine appearances for Spain in official matches. Oyarzabal has registered at least one shot on target in nine of his last 10 matches, so his level of involvement is always there.

Even when he doesn't score, it's usually a matter of inches, as he rarely fails to get into dangerous scoring positions or make something happen.

Belgium Romelu Lukaku anytime goal scorer

Kalshi probability: 23%

Romelu Lukaku has found the back of the net in each of his last three appearances for Belgium. The Red Devils' last three matches have all been high-scoring affairs, with at least five goals scored in each.

Belgium's dominant and convincing 4-1 win over the USA in the previous round surely raised a few eyebrows, as they have really hit their stride in the World Cup. Lukaku's fitness issues have limited his playing time, but that doesn't seem to have affected him too much. His cameos off the bench have made an impact every time.

Given Belgium's attacking firepower, Lukaku's proven goalscoring ability, and his overall quality, he will cause Spain plenty of problems in Inglewood.

Belgium Kevin De Bruyne to start

Kalshi probability: 55%

Kevin De Bruyne was benched against the USA, but manager Rudi Garcia can't afford to make the same decision against Spain.

The midfielder has taken at least four shots in four of his last five appearances for Belgium. He's also registered at least one shot on target in eight of his last nine official matches.

Garcia expects him to break opposition lines and create chances for both his teammates and himself. His presence in midfield should be even more important considering Belgium will be without Amadou Onana, who ruptured his ACL and is out for the remainder of the tourney.

De Bruyne remains the heartbeat of the Belgian team. Apart from being the architect of Belgium's play, De Bruyne contributed six goals in six qualifying matches, so I can't imagine him being absent from the starting XI.
