The WNBA season is young, and quite a few players are exceeding expectations in 2025. Blossoming stars are taking the next step, and seasoned veterans are making waves in new cities.
Thursday’s slate only consists of two games, but prop options are plentiful. Here’s how my WNBA picks are breaking down the slate on May 22.

Today's best WNBA player props bets
Caitlin Clark Over 38.5 points + rebounds + assists (-125 at bet365)
Caitlin Clark’s tally for points + rebounds + assists has reached 40 in the two games she’s played in 2025. The Indiana Fever’s latest loss gives us an idea of what her workload will look like in a competitive game, though.
Clark managed to post 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in her season opener despite the team's easy cruise to a 35-point victory. She took just 13 shots in that contest against the Sky. That won’t be the norm for a player who’s defensively her squad’s go-to scorer and playmaker.
The superstar point guard has now tasted defeat for the first time this season after fueling the Fever’s frantic, late-game comeback against the Dream with 27 points on 16 shots. She’ll return for the rematch with even more aggression on offense.
Indiana’s floor general appears to be on track to average a double-double with points and assists and has proven to be an above-average rebounder after racking up 5.7 boards per game during her rookie campaign. She’s shown improvement in her efficiency and decision making since then, so I love her odds to comfortably hit the Over here.
Brionna Jones Over 7.5 rebounds (-110 at bet365)
The books are still coming around on Brionna Jones. The former Connecticut Sun has posted two straight double-doubles to open up 2025 and is positioned to put together the best rebounding season of her career.
Jones will have plenty of competition on the glass playing as one half of a twin-tower duo that includes Brittney Griner. However, the Atlanta Dream are fully committed to playing them together extensively while giving reserve bigs spot minutes here and there.
Griner is no Alyssa Thomas, and Jones has now eclipsed seven rebounds in the last seven regular-season games she’s logged at least 28 minutes in. I’m banking on her to perform in her most prominent role yet.
Natasha Cloud Over 6.5 assists (-115 at bet365)
What if I told you that last year’s second-ranked offense added one of the five WNBA players who averaged at least 6.0 assists per game over the offseason? What if I told you that said player ranked first in assist-to-turnover ratio among that group? Well, that’s exactly what the New York Liberty have pulled off.
Natasha Cloud is in the perfect position to excel with her new team after being traded by the Sun. The pass-first point guard loves to set the table for others and has plenty of capable bucket-getters around her.
Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu were Top-10 scorers last season en route to a championship. Then there’s Jonquel Jones, who averaged 14.3 points while shooting 53.8% from the field and 38.8% from long range in 2024.
Cloud totaled nine assists in her Liberty debut thanks to her wealth of weapons. Backing a player who’s averaged at least 6.2 assists per game over the last four seasons with less to work with makes too much sense here. Especially a Sky team with the league’s worst scoring defense right now.
