The Minnesota Lynx have clinched the No. 1 seed, but the Las Vegas Aces are still in the hunt for the No. 2 seed. The home team will look to get one game closer to securing that spot as they ride a 12-game win streak into tonight's prime-time matchup.

My Lynx vs. Aces predictions expect A’ja Wilson & Co. to extend that streak to 13 and finally get a win over Napheesa Collier and the visiting Lynx.

Read all about it in my WNBA picks for September 4.

Lynx vs Aces predictions

My Lynx vs Aces best bet: Aces moneyline (+120 at bet365)

The Las Vegas Aces are on a major heater, and I’m not betting on them cooling off anytime soon.

At 32-8, the Minnesota Lynx have already locked up the No. 1 seed, and it’s fair to wonder how motivated Minnesota is as it eagerly awaits the start of the postseason.

Napheesa Collier has made a convincing case for MVP. She’s missed time already, but will she continue to play big minutes down the stretch to add to that case, or will the Lynx start to limit her ahead of an anticipated long postseason?

Motivations will certainly be different for the Aces. The last time these two teams met, the Lynx demolished the Aces in historic fashion, winning 111-58.

Over the last 12 games, the Lynx have a 13 Net Rating, bested only by the Aces' 13.1. Vegas is 9-2-1 ATS in that span, and it has a whopping 15.9 Net Rating across its last seven at home.

The Aces need to continue winning to earn the No. 2 seed, but more importantly, they want to win this one.

After a slow start to the 2025 campaign and an embarrassing loss to Minnesota, Las Vegas is ready to prove that it is a true title contender, and taking down the Lynx tonight will certainly go a long way in that discussion.

Lynx vs Aces same-game parlay (SGP)

Aces moneyline

A'ja Wilson Over 36.5 points+rebounds+assists

Courtney Williams Over 6.5 assists

A'ja Wilson has been locked in across the Aces’ 12-game win streak. In that span, she’s averaged a healthy 41.6 PRA and hit the Over on this line nine times.

The superstar forward has posted at least 37 PRA in five of her last six at home, and I expect her to be at her best in this one.

In what I fully expect to be a competitive contest, Courtney Williams should be the floor general orchestrating the offense for Minnesota on the road.

Williams has averaged 8.3 assists across her last four games and hit the Over on this line three times. On the season, she’s dished seven or more dimes in 20 of 40 appearances.
