The Golden State Valkyries are streaking, looking for a season-best fourth win in a row when they host the Dallas Wings on Wednesday night.

Dallas is currently playing its best ball of the season, having won six of its last eight, but the books have them as 2.5-point road dogs.

Golden State has won three straight in this head-to-head, and my Wings vs. Valkyries predictions and WNBA picks has their stifling defense extending their win streak on Wednesday, June 17.

Wings vs Valkyries prediction

Wings vs Valkyries best bet: Valkyries -2.5 (-115)

The Golden State Valkyries' defense has been the WNBA's best, allowing a league-low 78.3 points per game and holding half its opponents under 80 points.

The Dallas Wings have averaged 88 points over its last three games, but the Wings haven't consistently solved this matchup, shooting just 42% in the last three meetings and failing to top 81 points in four all-time matchups.

Even with the additions of Azzi Fudd and Jessica Shepard, I'm not ready to trust Dallas against this defense. Until the Wings prove they can crack the Valkyries' scheme, I'd back Golden State up to -3.5.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Dallas guard Paige Bueckers, who currently ranks eighth in scoring, could be in for a rough night, considering the blanket job Golden State put on WNBA leading scorer Kelsey Plum last game. Plum could only muster nine points in the blowout loss.

Wings vs Valkyries same-game parlay

With Bueckers getting the star treatment, top pick Azzi Fudd has a chance to get free against that Golden State defense. It’s a generous 12.5 scoring line, considering she’s scored at least 17 points in three straight.

If you aren’t hammering Veronica Burton’s prop bet right now, you are leaving free money on the table.

Burton isn't just shooting the lights out this season — hitting at a blistering 35.5% clip from beyond the arc — she has turned cash-strapped home games into her personal ATM. She has cashed the "2+ made threes" prop in three straight home games and a jaw-dropping five of her last seven outings overall.
