Allisha Gray is on a roll this month, and a depleted Toronto Tempo backcourt should be a gift for the Atlanta Dream bucket-getter.

The banged-up Toronto Tempo have hit the first real rough patch of their debut WNBA season, and a visit from the Atlanta Dream tonight won’t make life any easier.

Amid a string of injuries, Toronto has dropped five of its last six outings, and my Dream vs. Tempo predictions back Allisha Gray and a savvy Atlanta squad to silence Coca-Cola Coliseum as -390 favorites.

Dream vs Tempo prediction

Dream vs Tempo best bet: Allisha Gray Over 19.5 points (-115)

It’s been a wobbly July so far for the Atlanta Dream, but this matchup is the perfect medicine. The Toronto Tempo are still missing injured backcourt duo Brittney Sykes and Kiki Rice, and that paves the way for Atlanta’s guards to run the show tonight.

That starts with Allisha Gray, who’s poured in 20+ points in four straight games and led the Dream with 26 points in their blowout victory in Toronto last month.

Plus, the Tempo’s defensive struggles are no secret. They’re giving up 91.5 PPG, second-most in the league, and Sykes’ absence takes away their best Gray stopper.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Allisha Gray’s two-point game has been rock-solid this month, and she’s 18-for-31 inside the arc across her last three outings. If the 3-pointers are falling, too, it’s just a bonus.

Dream vs Tempo same-game parlay

This SGP doubles down on the Atlanta backcourt, where Gray has been cooking lately and Jordin Canada continues to rank among the WNBA’s best playmakers. Canada has nailed this Over in her last four contests, headlined by a 12-assist gem against the Portland Fire, and I expect her to carve up Toronto tonight.

The Tempo have lost five of their last six home games, and the hosts are light on firepower here, with so much of the scoring burden on Marina Mabrey's shoulders. Don't overthink the Dream's road woes. They're 14-8 SU when they get the favorites tag.
