Clark is coming off a 10-assist triple-double in Portland and faces a Lynx defense that forces high ball pressure and trap coverages on perimeter scorers. Minnesota’s guards will hound Clark, relentlessly double-teaming her on high-screen-and-roll sets, which allows her to be the playmaker that she is. With Clark pushing Indiana’s league-leading 101.52 pace, she’ll easily generate the transition kick-outs and roll-man feeds required to clear 8.5 dimes.
Napheesa Collier o26.5 Total Points and Rebounds (-110)
Versatile forwards like Collier average 12.2 rebounds and 38.1 points per game because the Fever’s defensively challenged backcourt forces Aliyah Boston and Monique Billings into late close-outs and off the defensive glass. Collier excels everywhere and has been involved in a couple of blowouts, but in the lone competitive game she played, she hung 24/10 on Seattle. This game will be close, and I expect a big day from Collier.
