THE STORY: The Arizona Diamondbacks go for their third three-game sweep on the road this season when they take on the Milwaukee Brewers in the finale of their set Wednesday afternoon at Miller Park. Arizona scored in each of the final six innings en route to an 8-6 triumph in Monday's opener and posted seven runs over the first three frames Tuesday en route to a 7-3 victory. Milwaukee has lost seven of its last eight games, including two straight at home for the first time this year.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Diamondbacks RH Josh Collmenter (4-5, 3.17 ERA) vs. Brewers RH Yovani Gallardo (9-5, 3.92 ERA).
Collmenter is attempting to halt a personal four-game losing streak. The 25-year old rookie posted a sparkling 1.05 ERA over his first six starts but has a 7.54 ERA during his current skid. Collmenter allowed five runs over 4 2/3 innings in a loss at Oakland on Friday.
Gallardo has gone 1-3 over his last five starts after winning six straight. He is coming off a loss at Minnesota on Friday in which he yielded five runs in seven innings. The 25-year old is 6-1 in nine home outings this season and 3-0 lifetime against Arizona with a 1.06 ERA.
ABOUT THE BREWERS (45-42): All-Star 1B Prince Fielder collected two RBIs on Tuesday, raising his season total to 71. He shares the lead the National League with Philadelphia's Ryan Howard. Fielder on Tuesday was named the NL Player of the Month for June after hitting .337 with 10 home runs and 27 RBIs. All-Star OF Ryan Braun missed his third straight game with a strained left calf. He is expected to be back in the lineup either Wednesday or Thursday, when he will attempt to extend his 22-game hitting streak.
ABOUT THE DIAMONDBACKS (47-40): With a four-run outburst in the opening frame Tuesday, Arizona extended its stretch of consecutive innings with at least one run to seven. OF Chris Young went 0-for-4 with a walk Tuesday, extending his streak of reaching base safely to 16 games. OF Gerardo Parra hit his first home run since May 30, a span of 28 contests without a blast. Veteran infielder Geoff Blum, who is recovering from offseason knee surgery, began a rehab stint with Triple-A Reno on Monday by going 0-for-3. Reno's game against Tucson on Tuesday was postponed.
FINAL PITCH: The Diamondbacks have won five of their last six games against the Brewers. They also have captured seven of their last nine contests at Miller Park.
