Kansas City @ Toronto preview

Rogers Centre

Last Meeting ( Jul 3, 2012 ) Kansas City 3, Toronto 6

Despite hitting 84 home runs over the previous three seasonS, Toronto’s Adam Lind served a nearly six-week long demotion to the minors earlier this season. Lind is regaining his stroke with three homers over the last five games as the Blue Jays host the Kansas City Royals in Wednesday’s third contest of a four-game set. Lind hit the tiebreaking three-run homer off the facing of the second deck in right field as Toronto notched a 6-3 win on Tuesday.

Kansas City has lost four of five games after reviving hopes of reaching .500 with a season-best four-game winning streak. Kansas City posted a season-high total for runs in its series-opening 11-3 victory on Monday. Toronto is 41-40 midway through its schedule. All nine players in the Blue Jays’ lineup had at least one hit in Tuesday’s 13-hit effort. Four players had two hits, including third baseman Brett Lawrie, who has nine multihit outings in his last 18 games.

About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
