Group G of the FIFA Club World Cup will be decided on Thursday afternoon when Juventus and Manchester City meet at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Both sides have already qualified for the Round of 16, but each will want to claim victory and the $2 million prize that accompanies it.

We’re in for an entertaining fixture, and I explain how that sets you up for profit in my Juventus vs Manchester City predictions and FIFA Club World Cup free picks for Thursday, June 26.

Man City vs Juventus picks and predictions

My Man City vs Juventus best bet: Both teams to score (-130 at Caesars)

Manchester City defeated Al-Ain 6-0 and could’ve won by more in its last outing, which followed a 2-0 victory over Wydad Casablanca to open their Club World Cup showing. Looking at the scores and the teams, you’d think they were dominant.

But while they defeated Wydad, that match was a bit shaky for a while. They scored inside 90 seconds to take an early lead, but Wydad had opportunities to level things up.

Had Wydad finished chances better, especially a 32nd-minute one from Cassius Mailula, things might’ve been tied up when Jeremy Doku made it 2-0 City late in the half. Wydad had multiple chances again after halftime but simply couldn’t convert.

Juventus is a team that won’t waste those opportunities. They’re thriving so far under new manager Igor Tudor, whose 3-4-2-1 setup has put away nine goals of their own while conceding just once.

But similarly to Man City, the Old Lady has coughed up some quality chances on the counter as well. Wydad notched 15 shots and put one away midway through the first half to cut Juve’s lead to 2-1, and the Italians were out-shot 9-4 after intermission but scored two goals and kept Wydad off the scoresheet.

Both sides possess tremendous attacking talent. Whether it’s Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush for the Citizens or Chico Conceicao and Kenan Yildiz for the Old Lady, there are simply too many quality finishers to see either side keeping a clean sheet.

With each side already qualified, I expect we’ll see both sides going for the win. That'll lead to plenty of shots and scoring chances. Throw in the fatigue that will play a factor, combined with the brutal Orlando heat, and you’ll have some defenders who are just a step slower than usual.

I would play this to -150, which is where I deem it should be if fairly priced.

Man City vs Juventus same-game parlay (SGP)

Both teams to score

Kenan Yildiz to score or assist

Michele Di Gregorio 3+ saves

Manchester City’s right-back situation is in flux. Rico Lewis will serve the second match of a three-match ban for his red card against Wydad on Matchday 1, and whoever fills in there will be tasked with slowing down Yildiz.

The 20-year-old Turkish forward is in fine form, with three goals over the first two matches. He also scored in the final Serie A match of the season for Juventus, and assisted both goals the week before against Udinese. He'll be a threat on the counter and is likely to contribute to a goal.

Michele Di Gregorio has come up with five saves in each of Juve’s first two matches, and he’s facing a Manchester City side that will shoot from anywhere on the pitch. Both of Man City’s first two opponents have had at least four saves made by their keepers, so a three-save floor is quite reachable here.
