LAFC hope to save face and walk away with a positive result from the FIFA Club World Cup when they face Flamengo tonight at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Flamengo has all but clinched first place in the group and are likely to rotate their squad against the already eliminated LAFC.
Our LAFC vs. Flamengo predictions break down why you should still back the Brazilian side to win their seventh match on the trot.

LAFC vs Flamengo picks and predictions
My LAFC vs Flamengo best bet: Flamengo moneyline (-120 at DraftKings)
LAFC will still be wondering how they failed to garner a point against Esperance in their second fixture, falling 1-0 to the Tunisian outfit.
The loss not only has them entering this match with zero points, it also doomed them to an early elimination. And while pride is on the line, they will also have one eye on Sunday’s match against the Vancouver Whitecaps, who lead the Western Division in MLS.
As such, LAFC will need to balance trying to finish strong against a long flight back home to prepare for that massive fixture. Although I’m not sure it matters.
Flamengo is on fire. They’re highly likely to rotate a fair amount in this fixture, both to protect against a yellow card suspension and to rest key players ahead of a knockout stage match. But their bench has Alex Sandro, who is still dangerous after years of playing for Juventus in Serie A.
More importantly, they have pace, and lots of it. They also have hungry young attackers like Matheus Goncalves and Wallace Yan, whose goal against Chelsea sealed their 3-1 victory.
Rotated or not, I trust Flamengo much more than LAFC. They’ll want to ensure they finish atop their group and keep momentum ahead of a knockout fixture.
LAFC vs Flamengo same-game parlay (SGP)
Flamengo like to pressure in the midfield, as evidenced by registering three times as many tackles as Chelsea last time out. They dominate possession, something LAFC aren’t the most comfortable with, and have the players to deal with the likes of Bouanga on the counter attack.
Chelsea managed just one goal against the side, which defends well and has conceded just six shots on target thus far in the tournament. I don’t trust LAFC to find the back of the net.
Without the ball, and without a bunkered opponent, LAFC are unlikely to rack up a lot of corners. They managed just two corners against Esperance despite 60% of the possession, and just one against Chelsea.
